Hi, I'm Matt, my wife and I are new to RVing. We took an epic trip this summer covering 30 states and 8100 miles and are now hooked. We have 4 kids who are mostly grown and 2 dogs, but more and more it's mostly just us on the road, because the rest of the crew is so busy.

When I arrived at the agreed upon pick up time the hood was up on the RV. The coach battery was dead and the generator wouldn't start. The refrigerator was on but the check light was also on. The RV itself was filthy dirty inside and the bathroom reeked of urine. I had two choices, cancel my trip and lose my impossible to find camping spot or take the RV as is. I took the RV. The RV had 140,000+ miles on it but it ran well. When I got it to the campsite I filled the RV with water as it was empty. I went out for the day and when I returned to the RV at night, ALL the water leaked out. I contacted the owner, Matt who told me to either keep the RV or return it the next day for a full refund. He also said he would discount the trip do to the issues. I was nor going to cancel this trip and disappoint my wife and young grandson so, my wife took to cleaning the RV with sanitized wipes as I worked on the mechanics. I was able to find and correct the water leak and the coach battery had enough power if we ran the generator (that now started with a semi charged battery). I ran the RV engine daily to keep the battery charged as it continually discharged. Despite the mechanical issues we had a good time at the campsite so I would have chalked this one up as a good trip. BUT, when I returned the RV, Matt would not assure me that I returned the RV intact. He said everything "looked good" but he would inspect it tomorrow to determine whether I owed HIM anything. I told him I did not want a discount I just wanted to be rid of this RV experience since he held my deposit. He then told me that he had to charge a previous renter $100.00 for losing a wheel trim ring. At this point I suspected that Matt knew how to manipulate the deposit money as Outdoorsy has the policy geared exclusively for the renter. They have seven days to find almost anything they want to charge you for. After the 7 days I did get my money back but I would never rent from this guy again. There is a saying that even a bad movie can be seen as ok if it has a good ending. This trip did not have a good ending as I was left at the mercy of this owner who doesn't play by the rules. One of the first things you will see on his bio is his assurance of a clean RV. If you want to rent this Rv bring your cleaning gear and jumper cables and don't forget your tools, Make sure you take good pictures and assume that you will be charged for anything that falls off this high mileage RV.

Matthew was great, honest, helpful and a great communicator. The RV was easy to drive, warm, everything worked. This rental is the best experience I have ever had renting an RV.

This was my first time ever RV camping and renting one out and I had the best experience! The RV ran great and everything was easy to use. I definitely will be booking again. Thanks for making my first experience a great one!

Matt is super flexible with his RV, and allowed us to have a great time with no set backs. His RV has everything you need and is super easy to use even for first time RV renters. He is very quick to respond, and is a super nice person.
