We are a small campervan rental business based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We are so excited to share the amazing freedom and adventure of vanlife with our custom-built modern campervans. The van we had was in great condition and the interior design was well thought-out. The owners were so friendly and walked us through all the features before our trip. The van itself was easy to drive and well-maintained. Overall a great experience!

We just came back from a 9 day trip on Nova Scotia and PEI using one of Casual Caravans vans. We had an amazing experience with the company. They were always quick to reply to my every question and communicate effectively even before I booked the van and throughout the whole process.

Nous avons eu un super service avec Sheldon ! Il a répondu rapidement à toutes nos demandes. La vanne était parfaite ! Les équipements sont à point pour que vous soyez complètement autonome et libre. N’hésitez pas à réserver auprès d’eux !!!

We had a blast camping in the van! Everything was ready to go, all we needed to do was grab some groceries and hit the road. Had a lot of fun driving on the back roads. Sheldon was really flexible with the pick up and drop off

What a wonderful trip we had! We rented the van for three weeks and did Newfoundland and Cap Breton. The van was easy to drive and versatile. The bed very comfortable, even for my husband who has back/sciatic issues. We were able to park for the night in wonderful spots with sea views multiple times! What a sense of liberty! The organization tion in the van is well thought. We used a few card board boxes to add to it. The heating and cooling system worked well.
We spoke mainly with Sheldon and the contact was easy and fast. He was very accommodating which contributed to keep the stress low through out the whole experience. Highly recommended!

The van is ideal for two people. The bedding is comfortable and easy to install. The size of the vehicle is ideal because it can be parked in a parking space. It's perfect for visiting Nova Scotia and being able to stop wherever you want, overlooking the sea.
The van drives very well; it doesn't consume much fuel, but we drove very quietly as we enjoyed the magnificent scenery.
Sheldon is responsive! Despite a delay in picking up the van, he did everything he could to ensure our experience was pleasant. Check with him carefully to see what is included and what isn't, as in our case, it was different from the photos. But it's still a very good deal, and they continue to improve the customer experience with each rental. We will definitely return.

Touring Cape Breton in our camper van from @casualcaravans was an unforgettable adventure! We loved exploring at our own pace, stopping whenever inspiration struck. It’s truly the ultimate way to travel – the freedom to pull over anywhere, back up to breathtaking waterfront views, and transform any spot in nature into our private patio is unbeatable.

Our experience was amazing. 1rst time doing vanlife and we enjoyed it so much. The inside set up was perfect and easy to use the owners built it and they did a great job. Sheldon was 100% perfect with communication. Easily reachable and answered fast all our questions regarding the rental and during the trip as well. The Harvest host option was super cool also!! :) Strongly recommend this nice Nova Scotia company for campervan rental!!!

Our experience with Sheldon and Charlie at Casual Caravans was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They were super responsive even before our trip began, making the booking process smooth and stress-free. Amazing van to travel thru the Maritimes with! Great layout, very nicely finished and practical layout. It has everything you need to just park anywhere you want en enjoy life.
