Amazing time in Banff thanks to Dorine’s hospitality and letting us rent out her camper van. Everything went smoothly and she explained everything to us at pickup. The van was easy to drive and easy on gas. Took us only one refuel from Calgary to Banff and back. Bed was pretty comfy for the tight space to work with. All kitchen essentials were available to use (just needed a quick wash).

We are not the type to leave negative reviews, but we wanted to share our very disappointing experience with Dorine. It felt like she didn’t care about us at all. When we picked up the van, she assured us there was plenty of propane left in the bottles. However, once we were deep in the woods, we discovered there wasn’t even enough to cook pasta for our first dinner, forcing us to make a long drive to restock. When we returned the van, we informed her that we had filled the gas tank in Canmore instead of Calgary, so it wasn’t completely full (less then 1/4 missing). However, we told her we left her a big camping water container (which we had to purchase because she didn't provide any type of container to carry water during the trip), a full propane bottle, and other items we couldn’t take with us on our flight home like sunscreen. Despite this, she went behind our backs and contacted Outdoorsy to claim extra money for the gas and also for the Parks Canada pass that we never requested in the add-ons (she was overcharging for it) but had still left in the van when we picked it up.

Well, I actually thought it was a “Camper Van” the stove is what mislead me. It’s there, in a box under the bed frame with a piece of foam on it. I’m 5 feet tall, & trying to get in & out of the bed, that was so close to the ceiling, coffin came to mind.
It filled up the entire van, with room to store your stuff underneath, then once on the bed, trying to get out, was an exercise in becoming a pretzel with muscles to get the side door open. Not conducive to a weekend camp trip, where you get dressed outside or if you’re lucky you travelled with a mate with a trailer so you can stand to get your shirt on, because you definitely can’t sit up in the bed. This experience taught me one thing, never rent anything sight unseen…especially with the outrageous price tag attached.

It was a great joy with the car. It had stuff more than I expected for camping and others. I am glad with her to rent it out for our trip.

The Dodge campervan was exactly what we wanted for this trip - small enough to fit into small camp sites and to drive around, yet equipped with everything we needed. This type of vehicle provides considérable flexibility, and we recommend Dorine's car to anyone looking for a no frills, easy to use camping option.

Très bon van : tout est bien pensé niveau équipement et nous n'avons eu besoin de rien d'autre.
La conduite est très agréable et le lit très confortable.

On a passé un séjour génial au Québec avec le van de Dorine. Il est très confortable à vivre ! Il se prête à un séjour tranquille. Rien à redire, tout était parfait !

Encore désolée, la van sortait du garage quand vous l'avez récupéré. Ca n'aurait pas du arriver. Le problème (le démarreur a lâché) a été adressé et c'est maintenant réparé.
