So for the positives first: the owners were very easy to communicate with: responsive, flexible and accommodating (like when we ended up changing our dates slightly and they refunded us a night even though they didn’t have to). Overall the camper was clean (with the exception of a pillow under the bed that was covered in pet hair so we decided not to store anything in there). The camper mostly functioned as it should. But unfortunately, the camper is not as advertised. The pictures that go along with the listing must have been taken within the first few years because the current condition of the camper does not reflect the photos on the listing. There is trim missing, the upholstery on the couch and dinette is peeling badly or completely off (see pictures), there are windows that don’t have shades and need a trash bag to be covered and the fridge is rusted and cracking on the inside. Part of the outdoorsy agreement says that pictures of the listing should be current and accurate, and the pictures with this listing definitely are not current. I included pictures of the camper now because I think it’s important for renters to have an accurate representation of what they are getting. In addition to this, the black tank was not fully emptied (from the previous renters) when we hooked up, one of the toilets leaked very badly, the tires were mismatched (which could have been unsafe) and the motor lift seems like it’s struggling to work. My husband kindly tried to communicate this with the owner and although she listened and was not disrespectful in any way, it seems like it was largely met with a least some defensiveness and no apologies or recognition of the problems we dealt with. We have rented many campers over the years and this is our most disappointing experience. Integrity is a high value of ours and even just the inaccurate pictures alone would be enough to deter us from renting from this company again.

Made the whole process easy and stress-free. Quick responses to any questions we had an extremely helpful guiding us through the whole process since this was our first time to rent an RV.

Shelley went above and beyond to make this a great trip for us after another person cancelled on us last minute. She was great at communication, we will absolutely rent through her again!

RV worked great for extra sleeping space over the holiday weekend. We did not use any of the appliances aside from the AC which worked great over the hot weekend.

This was our very first trip with an RV and it was one to remember! We had to do zero set up or break down, Double S did all the work! Our family made it official, we are doing 4th of July RV style, for the years to come. Thank you Shelly and Double S for the fantastic stay!

Shelly was very responsive and addressed our questions. She was also flexible with changes we had to make. The unit is nice, had great air con and in good condition. Enjoyed the rental.

RV rental was easy. Communication was great and help was provided when needed. Rental made better since they handle many RV rentals. Mike and Shelly were great hosts. We will definitely rent again!

I highly recommend booking with double S rentals. Not only was our camper in excellent condition and met. All of our families needs with the communication and the customer service was absolutely amazing and professional. Shelly made sure that my family and I had the best experience. She was very quick to respond to any type of concern we had. She is extremely friendly and she goes above and beyond to make sure that the renters are pleased. There is no one else we will rent with besides double S rentals. Thank you Shelley for all you did for us to make our trip so special!

We rented an RV and had a great experience. The RV was spacious & comfortable. The booking process was smooth thanks to Shelley, who was incredibly efficient and helped answer all of our questions. Her support made everything easy from start to finish. Highly recommended!
