The rental with the insurances and setting up fees is way more than you would expect to rent a RV. Receipt shown. The hot water was out as soon as we arrived. We called the service number and the franchise owner of Lake St. Louis with no results. The owner would not approve for someone to come out and look at the on demand water heater to which he knew was having problems.|I asked for 50% back and 50% of the RENTAL charge was refunded. It was still $1675 for 5 nights with no hot water! That was with a 50% refund which only was on the renting portion. I could have rented a whole house from airbnb for half that with 2 functional bathrooms with hot water. On top of the charges, there is a refundable $1,000 deposit hold that could remain on your credit card for up to 14 days! The cost to rent a RV is extremely outrageous. Does the customer have to pay $350 to insure for 5 days? Doesn't the owner carry insurance? Why am I being charged for the camper to be cleaned before I rent it? And, it wasn't clean! The floor hadn't been mopped and there were literally cobwebs in the couch! I paid $69 for insurance if we caused damages. That extra insurance charge for the basic protection package is $322.24 and I paid $69 for damage protection.

The team at Fireside is absolutely amazing. I ask a lot of questions… the responses were prompt and so helpful! You really feel like a VIP from the booking to the return. I would highly recommend them over any of the big box RV rental companies! It was so refreshing to have personalized service! Thank you so much for the memorable trip! We will book again!!!!

Absolutely seamless process and the RV was excellent. Joe was awesome for delivery and set up and Richard was super quick to respond when we had a question. I would absolutely recommend Fireside and hope to be able to rent from them again next year.

I believe return check in could be better then 11am. Most rentals have travel time. Meaning that would need to packup before day break.

Heat didn’t work all week and was never resolved. The camper was dropped off filthy with full grey and black tanks. No towels, blankets or other amenities. On day 4 the owner dropped off a space heater but heat was never fixed. We asked about compensation for the nights with no heat and that was never offered again or resolved. After drop off $75 was taken out of our security deposit because the owner had to dump the black and grey tanks. I sent the pictures of the meters that I was told are “faulty and not accurate”. I would not recommend this camper to anyone!

Great experience with Fireside. Nice unit for two people. Great service… great communication and delivery service. They made sure we had everything we needed. Clean and great linen service. Units with pots pans towels… etc.

Great RV for a getaway… would highly recommend. We had a Wedding on our property and needed extra sleeping for guest coming in from Colorado. The owners of Fireside had great communication and delivery service. We rented 4 units from them and all were in good order, clean and quality linen service. They supplied generators in case we needed. We did not have official RV hook ups. They insured our guest would be as comfortable as possible without any hiccups for their stay. Would not hesitate to rent from them in the future.

We had a wonderful experience… would definitely recommend. Very accommodating… units very clean with nice linen service. Wonderful communication and wonderful customer service. They went the extra mile and delivered this unit to us last minute after a booking with another company went wrong. Will definitely use in the future!

We boondocked for two nights at a farm in waynesville and the RV made it a super comfortable trip. It got down to near freezing and the propane heat kept us nice and comfortable. It was easy to drive and the diesel engine made short work of the mountains. Everything onboard worked as expected. George explained everything well. It was our first time renting an RV and he walked us around explaining how everything works.

Great customer service. Monica was always available for questions. The RV was fully stocked. Everything worked well, specially the heater! Would highly recommend renting from Fireside.

Monica was incredible, her prompt response and flexibility made things a breeze. She was thorough in the explanation and ensured that we had everything we needed to make our trip amazing. The RV was everything we needed and more. We went with a large group and about half ended up with issues that our RV was able to accommodate. Highly recommend!

Unit was new and very clean. Fireside was very responsive to any questions, super easy to work with. They went above and beyond to make sure our camping trip was a success! Highly recommend!
