Absolute worst rental experience of my life, the vehicle barely worked at all, had to pay out of pocket multiple times for repairs, then when returned he tries to still bleed more money from me and refuses to pay back the money I myself put in to just keep this truck running. He made last minute adjustments to price and even switched our vehicle to a much smaller one weeks before our trip and still tried to charge me full price. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS MAN!! Currently in claims trying to get a refund or at least some money back for the mechanical work I had to pay out of pocket for. A/C didn’t work, windshield wipers didn’t work, windshield cleaner fluid hoses were broken, trunk barely opened. This guy is a scam artist who plays the company and plays people, go anywhere else!

RV pickup and drop off was easy Peary. Van was very clean and comfortable with good gas mileage. Would definitely do it again!

Aim is a very nice guy & a great host, he was on time for pick up & drop off and quick to respond when we had questions about the van before & during our trip! We liked the fact that the van have everything needed for a nice road trip with all the equipement necessary if you don't have a camp site with electricity & water.

Overall, we really enjoyed our experience with Happy Toy and with the owner, Aim. During our trip we got a flat tire and Aim was really helpful and relaxed through the situation.

Horrible experience. I’d advise against using this vehicle or any vehicle with this host. They changed the car that we hired
last minute and gave us a car that didn’t have properly working AC. The car didn’t come with all the stuff advertised and the stuff that it did come with didn’t work properly. The host was rude and difficult to deal with. Also tried to take most of the bond with no explanation.

We hired for three days and was a great set-up. Came with all the essentials and ran smoothly. Definitely would hire through Aim Riha again!

This was a last-minute vehicle replacement, and everything worked out generally well, although the renter tried multiple times to overcharge us for delivery/pick up fees. Their site originally stated $150 each way to/from Nanaimo, then they ended up charging $400 to get to a hotel in the South end of Nanaimo and return to Nanaimo. The renter then tried multiple times to give additional money for picking it up again, and mentioned taking it out of our damage deposit which we said was not acceptable. Highlights on the vehicle were generally overembellished while things to look out for were left unmentioned. Supplies were an eclectic supply of what seemed like what was left behind by other renters. The bedding and vehicle were adequately cleaned.

Our initial interaction was pleasant when we made the reservation with this individual. Despite a few minor issues upon our arrival, nothing major occurred. However, as soon as we took possession of the car, a warning light turned on upon startup, and the vehicle shook significantly while driving, causing us to feel unsafe. After explaining the situation to this person, they asked us to return the car to the pickup location, citing the need for a vehicle exchange. Unfortunately, it became clear that they manipulated and deceived us. Despite numerous discussions, the situation concluded with an unjustified charge of $170 for a 24-hour rental, even though we only had access to the car for 2 hours. Furthermore, fuel charges amounted to $110, despite us having driven only 70 km. In summary, this individual not only proved to be manipulative and dishonest but also unscrupulous. I won't even mention the state of the equipment! Never again...The photos serve as evidence!🤬😤🥵😡
