We had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with both Outdoorsy and LV RV Rentals.
When my husband and I first picked up the RV in Las Vegas and returned to the hotel to load up the kids and my mom, we soon realized something was terribly wrong. The RV made a loud grinding noise whenever we accelerated, especially when reaching 40 mph. I immediately contacted the rental company, but they dismissed it as normal, claiming it had just been serviced. When I tried to return the RV for inspection, they said no one was available.
Reluctantly, we started our trip, but the noise only worsened, and the RV struggled to accelerate on hills. The noise was so unbearable that we all had severe headaches. Despite my repeated calls and messages to the owners, they continued to ignore us or claim nothing was wrong. I even sent them videos of the noise and called from the RV, leaving voicemails they could clearly hear.
Desperate, my husband took the RV to an auto parts store in Moab, where a diagnostic test revealed issues with the coil and a spark plug. We were then referred to a local mechanic who diagnosed us with the rear differential failing and needed immediate replacement. We were advised not to drive it far, and that it wouldn't make it back to Las Vegas. When I informed the owners, they accused me of lying.
Calling Outdoorsy for help was equally frustrating; I was told nothing could be done until the RV broke down completely, leaving me to deal with the uncooperative owners. We bought earplugs and tried to continue our trip, but only made it to Salt Lake City before the RV barely ran. We were forced to stop and get a place to stay for two more days.
Eventually, the owners agreed to drive a new RV to us and take back the broken one, which we appreciated. However, we lost two days in Salt Lake City and another day in Moab dealing with RV issues. This caused us to miss our reservations in Yellowstone and Zion, as well as a hike we had a permit for and had been anticipating for over a year. Despite our ordeal, we never received an apology or proper customer service.
The second half of our trip was acceptable with the new RV, but the first week was ruined. Our experience could have been avoided if the initial RV had been properly checked before our departure. We endured unnecessary stress and financial strain due to the poor service and malfunctioning vehicles.

We took you guys a brand new rv and the rv was inspected the day before it left. There was no issue with the rv, most likely you guys pushed the rv over the given speed limit which made something pop off and become loose. Us bringing you an rv 8 hours away from Las Vegas is the solution to your problem. Sorry but lying is not okay…
Thank you
Thank you

The staff was friendly and helpful and responsive. However, we were disappointed in the overall condition and cleanliness of the RV. The major components functioned properly but there were many small things that were broken inside (cabinet door hinges, windows, etc) or didn't work quite right. I also felt the mileage (160k+) is too high for a vehicle to be rented in this manner. In general the RV just felt worn out.

This was my first time RV camping and can tell you that Nina and Justin out did them selves making the whole process as smooth as possible. Great communication and responded at a reasonable time. They went out of their way to make sure pickup and drop off was easy. Nice thorough introduction making sure we knew where everything was and how to work the RV. RV was well stocked with everything you would need for a camping trip. On top of that the decorated the RV making it feel very homie. Overall both were amazing host and I definitely will be booking with them again in the near future

Only issue was that on return of the vehicle there was no postage of when someone would arrive, so I had to return the Winnie after 9 am when I wished to return it closer to 8, but that was made up for by the fact that LC RV came through with the rental last minute after we had two cancellations for the RV we originally reserved - with the second cancellation happening about 8 hours before pickup.

I would recommend renting from LV RV Rental to any of my friends. They were accommodating to our schedule change and were very helpful when we had questions about the RV. We had a great trip in our RV!

This RV’s generator broke a day into our trip, and we were left without AC and power for 4+ days. Tried contacting the owner to get help and they ignored us for the entire trip. We are in the process of requesting a refund.
