We specialize in providing adventure camping vehicles ready to explore Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. Our vehicles come stocked with everything you will need for your road trip including bedding, cooking and kitchenware, cleaning supplies, maps, guide books, camp chairs and more. Our Portland OR location is conveniently located 3 miles from the Portland International Airport and just a block from the light rail MAX station making it easy to get to and from the airport or just about anywhere in Portland. Our hours of operation are 9 AM to 4 PM for pick up and drop off times.

Our van was perfect! It had all the amenities that were listed. We felt very informed and prepared ahead of our trip. And this van gave us a fabulous family road trip that created really great memories! Thanks Road Trip Oregon!

Everything with the rental went smooth and we had a great trip. For first time renters, it could be beneficial to have a brief phone call to confirm that the van selected is a good fit. The cooking set up was a bit too tall for short people to use comfortably, although it is workable.

Honestly, my partner and I can't thing of a negative example to share. For a 9 day road trip with 2 dogs/2 people, the cost was fair and similar to what it would cost for lodging, eating out, transportation, entertainment. However, the freedom the camper van provided us is "priceless." I would say that my partner and I enjoy problem solving, and as a novices to this type of diesel vehicle, we felt it was part of the adventure to learn along the way. The biggest, and only, safety thing that happened was learning about what happens when the van runs low on diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) while entering the highway. While we were able to problem solve ourselves, Rico returned our text immediately. That was comforting. We learned that DEF is available at gas stations and would highly suggest purchasing one box to have in the van and replacing the fluid every 800-1000 miles (easy to do and Rico showed us how). We rented the delux version of a camper van and we would say, it didn't disappoint...it was delux. We only used the indoor shower once, but we were surprised how easy it was to use and how hot the water was (safety point #2 - the hot water doesn't have a safety for temperature and therefore can be scalding - we found that out the hard way). We hesitated to use the toilet at first, but honestly, once we did it was so easy to use and dispose of our waste that I wish we would have used it sooner (pro tip - use the bath room fan to expel smells). I feel the biggest novice mistake was packing foods in containers that could leak. The van is like a blender on rough roads and packaging that has always been safe in our kitchen cabinets are definitely not safe in a cabinet that rattles and shakes. I feel the 4x4 gave us the ability to disperse camp, even in difficult to reach places (Owyhee Canyon, Grand Staircase, Alvord Desert) which allowed us complete solitude with dogs that have anxiety (herding breeds). Along with lucking out on the weather, this trip was the adventure we were looking for. We decided, with this type of positive experience from Road Trip Oregon (maintenance, support, delux options to fit our needs, convenience of location, storage, licensing, insurance, etc), we would rather use Road Trip Oregon than to purchase a van ourselves. And to be honest, while we added 3000 miles road-tripping as far Utah, the Owyhee Canyon and Alvord Desert in Oregon was our favorite. Go Oregon!

Every single thing about this experience was amazing, from the first phone call for more information to the final drop off. We loved the van so much it was hard to give it back! Also, SUPER convenient location to the airport (15 minute Uber). Highly recommend!

Road Trip Oregon is an amazing host! We had a glitch in our travel plans with a delayed flight but they worked with us and were so helpful and kind! Plus, it was a great VW van. We had everything we needed for a camping trip. Feels so roomy with the top up! Thank you to Outdoorsy and Road Trip Oregon for a great vacation.

Metolius turned over to 300,000 miles while we had it and it drove and performed like a new vehicle. The VR6 motor moved the camper down the road with ease. All necessary items (and more!!) for off grid camping can be found in the camper.

Had an amazing time! We traveled from Portland to Cape Flattery then to Mt. Rainer and back to Portland again. It was incredibly easy to get up and hit the road in the morning thanks to this van. Everything we needed was included in the vehicle, although I would suggest bringing another blanket for the second bed. The only reason for the 4 star rating and not 5 is because there was a constant leak from the ceiling light and somewhere around where the side door runs on the track. Luckily it only rained the first day so it was only an inconvenience once. Would totally use this company again, but since our two little always ended up in the same bed as us, we will rent a larger van next time. Thanks guys!!

My girlfriend and I couldn’t have enjoyed our time spent in Oregon anymore than we did! Road Trip Oregon rented us a nice Eurovan to use during our weeklong visit. This saved us loads of money and we were just as comfortable than if we had paid triple the price for a vehicle/lodging through a competitor. I will recommend them to all of my loved ones moving forward! I would give 6 ⭐️s if I could!
