Hey there! My name is Danny, and I have a 2015 v6 4WD Long-bed Toyota Tacoma named Taco. Taco is a great companion for exploring wilderness, cross-country road trips, or coastal campouts. Fabulous setup for what we were out to accomplish, we needed a utilitarian, well equipped vehicle for a pilgrimage and "TacoCamp" could not have been a more perfect vehicle. Got great gas mileage and was equipped with everything we could have needed for getting off the grid for a few days. Many thanks to Danny for his thoughtfulness in assembling all aspects of his rig! Danny was a great host and we loved taking Taco up to Chaco Canyon. We flew in from Washington so it was great to have all the camping supplies we needed. We hope to do it again!

We rented this truck for a week-long 5 year anniversary celebration. We were elated to find an option that allowed us to camp despite not being able to fly with camping gear. When we arrived at the airport, the truck was all packed up and ready to go when we arrived. It had everything we needed for a lengthy camping trip, including a full water jug. Moving sites was really easy since we slept in the truck, so we were able to explore multiple campgrounds and camp at different places every night with ease. The truck handled beautifully, and the bed was shockingly comfortable. The windows in the back are screened in, so we were even able to enjoy the fresh air all night long while sleeping. We were a little hesitant to spend our vacation living out of a truck for a week, but we are SO glad we did. We camp often, and this was hands-down our easiest and most fun camping trip of all time! We were able to return the truck right at the airport too, so at no point did we have to arrange for transportation or a place to stay. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this renter/rental to anyone who wants to explore the wilderness around Santa Fe!

Didn't have any problems and the host was responsive and helpful. Easy to pickup and dropoff the truck. Only word of warning is that the bed is pretty cramped in terms of height from bed to ceiling so if you are a larger person you may have difficulty. It wasn't a problem for me and my gf however and was super comfortable.

Trip to Chaco canyon went as planned successfully. Truck was comfortable and cozy especially during a wind storm. Danny’s videos were very helpful.

Danny was a terrific host, and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The truck was well equipped and handled beautifully. The bed was very comfy - though you do have to wriggle into place. There is good storage under the bed, little fairy lights around the perimeter and a net along the roof for a place to put things when you sleep. The plug-in cooler came in handy. Though we didn't put up the tent (as there was rain in the forecast) we appreciated the chairs and kept warm in the sleeping bags to watch the stars.
