About Erika + Peter's RV rentals

Launching with "Road to Nowhere" in July 2021, this woman-owned small business is the culmination and kick-off of a two person dream. Erika and Peter (and their multiple fur babies) have lived and traveled in small spaces for many years - Erika in trucks, vans and tents around the western US, Southeast Asia, and eastern Europe, and Peter on sailboats and motor boats in the Caribbean and South Pacific. Following a five month stint living full time in her converted van with her canine copilot Bodi, Erika knew it was time to share "Road to Nowhere" with those desiring to wander for a long weekend or two. From their shared love for adventure and exploring places new and old, the idea for West on Wheels was born. Welcome to life on the road. West on Wheels, LLC rents converted camper vans to couples, singles, and their furry companions desiring to explore the western United States via the road and on their own terms. With over 15 years of personal experience living and playing around our Utah base camp, custom adventure packages and add-ons are our specialty! The van for rent here has proven to be just as comfortable for full-time living and working remotely as it is for quick weekend trips.
