One of my favorite places to visit is Stinson Beach in Marin County. The drive there is stunning in and of itself, with the option to weave within trees, or along the ocean coast - I like to do both :) Be sure to save your appetite! Surrounding towns are lovely pit stops for a bite to eat or a bit of shopping. There are delicious restaurants, coffee, and ice cream shops within walking distance of the beach. Dogs are welcome, bathrooms and outdoor showers are clean, and as a fun little fact for you - a fresh spring, called Red Rock, is located just a few miles up the coast.
Also, if you plan to travel to San Francisco, here is a link with helpful tips with do's and don'ts regarding parking with an RV in a packed and busy city like SF. https://rvblogger.com/blog/rv-parking-in-san-francisco/ Hope this helps :)For those traveling to NorCal, Yuba River is an all-time favorite. The river is stunning, with massive rocks to climb and natural swimming pools to explore, and the few people you'll meet here will blow your socks off with kindness, seriously. It's a magical place. If you stop by, be sure to stay long enough to see the stars!! Absolutely incredible.Visiting SoCal? We so gotchu. Joshua Tree National Park is the place to go for amazing views, hiking trails, and wildlife. In the midst of a vast landscape under a star-filled night sky, it feels refreshingly peaceful to be in the middle of nowhere.Going out of state to Nevada? If you haven't been already, we highly recommend Moon Rocks Public Land. It's exactly as it sounds: the lunar landscape invites you to explore on foot, dirt bike, ATV, and yes, by Starflyte. One of our most memorable trips was to Moon Rocks. We arrived at night with a sky full of stars as our company, and music streamed from the exterior Bluetooth speakers as we lit up the grill. I danced and stargazed into the night while eating my favorite camping meal (grilled jalapeño hot dogs with roasted onions, mushrooms, and bell peppers. Thanks dad for creating this masterpiece.) Come morning, I was blown away by the swirling curves and designs of the massive natural rock next to us. What's even cooler is we found Mountain Lion tracks nearby. So neat to see them in person. Remember, here, you'll be in their habitat. Practice safe camping, and always take out what you bring in. Bonus brownie points for packing out more than you brought in, teamwork makes a clean world work! :DOtros detalles importantesWe love your furbabies!! Bring them along, but please be wary of the leather seats, as they are prone to be scratched easily by little paws.
