Hosts Chris and Amanda are friendly, respond quickly, provide great instructions, and are flexible with pick-up, drop-off, and delivery times, even assisting with hookup.
Tows and maneuvers like a dream
The Basecamp 16X is exceptionally easy to pull, park, and maneuver, even with small SUVs. It features cold AC, a well-stocked kitchen, and solar-powered fridge. Note: some issues reported with shower leaks, bed comfort, and a recurring hose compartment problem.

3.0The host was quick to respond to all questions and concerns. The valve was not turned on for the hot water and once it was corrected there was a leak from the shower. Not wanting to allow the leak to make a further problem, we were not able to utilize the shower. It would be highly recommended to future renters to take a mattress/topper to make the bed somewhat comfortable. The owner reiterated the need to confirm closure for one of the hoses upon pick-up which we did, but on travels home the hose compartment still opened and we lost the hose on the interstate. Not wanting to lose the deposit, we stopped and bought a brand new hose. Evidently it has been a problem previously and should be corrected to leave no potential for it happening frequently.

5.0Great experience and great RV. We had a blast in the Basecamp and the entire process was very easy. The owners provided great communication and great instructions. Defitnittly look forward to renting it again when we need to. Thanks.
