2017 Dodge Ram Promaster 2500

We had a great time on our first RV trip, spending two nights in Jennifer's 2017 Dodge Ram Promaster 2500. The van handled nicely as we drove from Austin through Boerne to Utopia, and it averaged about 15 mpg. Our return trip was mostly on the interstate and it did well there also. Jennifer did an awesome job introducing us to the van and all the systems, and was always responsive when we had a few questions about things we forgot how to operate while we were at our campsites. There was plenty of room for our belongings, all of the cooking systems worked well, plenty of water for our two night stay, nice refrigerator/cooler, plentiful pots/pans and utensils. The cook space design is very nice. We did a lot of food prep and coffee making. The string LED lights Jennifer showed us worked beautifully outside the van. The solar panels kept the battery storage always above 90%. The bed is very comfortable, and the small storage cabinets in the sleeping area are useful. The window shades were easy to put up and blocked the outside light. Because it was so cool this weekend in south Texas we didn't need to use the AC, so we did not try that system out. This RV was a great setup for the two of us and we would certainly like to use it again when we take another trip out of Austin.

The simple clean layout, the style, the drive of the vm, everything about it was awesome. Plus Jennifer was a pleasure to work with. She even delivered the cam to the airport! I can’t say enough good things. 10/10 recommend this cam to anyone in the Austin area.

Second time renting this van, and we were just as happy as the first time. Has everything we needed and more for an easy weekend camping trip.

Had an awesome time with our two dogs. We definitely overpacked.. this van had all the essentials. We were able to cook all of our meals in the van. The A/C was great for keeping cool at night. And the plug in heater was really helpful for our one chilly morning. Pro tip: bring a tool for cleaning dog hair if you plan to bring pups. We didn’t realize how fast a van can fill up with hair when you’re on the road! Plus the stress of the ride made them shed even more than usual. Thanks for lending us your awesome van!
