--Denver Airport Delivery-$150
--Four pillows, two fitted sheets, two flat sheets, one comforter, and two sleeping bags-$35 (if you don't select this add on you will need to provide your own sheets, pillows, and sleeping bags)
--Cooking Setup-$40
--Cleaning fee-$50 if the van is returned without a carwash/vacuum, $25 if you wash/vacuum.
--Two person Hammock-$10-Can I cancel after booking?
--Yes, but you will not get a full refund. Cancellations prevent us from renting our the van to other campers. In the event of a cancelled booking you will still have to pay the reservation deposit (25% of full trip cost) to Outdoorsy. The rest of the refund depends on when the cancellation occurs. If the renter has paid in full and the booking is canceled more than seven days prior to booking start date, a partial refund of 75 percent of the full rental amount (minus Outdoorsy's fees) is issued. If canceled less than seven days prior to booking start date, a partial refund of 50% of the total rental amount (minus Outdoorsy's fees) is issued. You can also change dates if we are all in agreement. Can you deliver the van to me?
--Yes, I can deliver the van to the airport for $110 and park it in the West Economy Lot with a lockbox attached. You will pick it up there and pay the parking fee on your way out ($4-16) and I will pay the parking feee when I pick the van up. I can also deliver the van somewhere else in the Front Range for a fee if there is a bus that can get me back to Boulder and my schedule allows it. Please contact me first about delivery.-How far can I go?
--As far as you want! We include 85 miles/night with each booking. You will pay a fee of 40 cents/mile in excess of the allowance. People have taken our van as far as North Dakota and Yellowstone. We've taken the van on road trips longer than a month that circled through ten states! If you plan to drive the van more than 3000 miles you will be responsible for an oil change.-How do you sleep four in there?
--The lower level has a bench seat that folds down into a queen bed and the top pops up with a full bed.-Do you supply everything?
--We can! Choose the add ons you need and you could arrive with your clothes and a toothbrush for some turnkey camping. If you have your own gear, save some money, bring your own pillows, sleeping bags, cooking setup, cooler, and don't select any add ons.-How does the furnace add-on work?
--The heater burns gas from the fuel tank and a fan runs off the auxiliary battery to push the heat into the van through a vent behind the passenger seat. No need to turn the engine on! All the combustion is done outside the van so make sure the exhaust pipe isn't pushing hot air into dry grass or needles. We do provide a smoke alarm/carbon monoxide detector for your safety. The furnace will run as long as the fan has electricity and the gas tank has more than a quarter tank. The furnace burns approximately 1 gallon of gas for every 24 hours of continuous use--amazing! The cabin of the van generally stays about 10-15 degrees warmer than the pop-top. We provide thermal window covers if you choose this add on.-How do I charge the auxiliary battery?
--The house battery is a 65 amp-hour sealed lead acid battery that is charged by the engine when it is running or from the optional solar panel. The solar panel has a five amp charging capability so it can top off the battery with direct sun on a typical summer's day.-A fridge--how does that work?
--The fridge is an amazing optional camping luxury add on that can run off the auxiliary battery. It has a 46 liter (72 can) capacity and can be set to any temperature you want all the way down to a deep freeze of negative seven degrees F! Unless you are driving a few hours a day we recommend adding the solar panel on if you want to take advantage of the fridge.-Who pays for damages?
--Renters are insured through Outdoorsy, please contact them with specific questions about coverage. Outdoorsy will only insure renters age 25 and older. You can add on their road side assistance for an additional fee if you don't have your own AAA membership. Each booking requires a $500 deposit and renters are responsible for mileage overages, cleaning fees, damage to the pop top canvas, scrapes, scratches, windshield dings, and anything else that negatively impacts the van or accoutrements during your trip. We are happy to take before and after pictures.-Can I bring my dog?
--Unfortunately we have some allergies in our family and pets are not allowed. If we find pet hair inside the van you will be charged a $250 fee for steam cleaning and hair/dander removal.-I have more questions, who do I contact?
--Contact Outdoorsy with general questions about rentals, policies, etc. Feel free to send me a message with specific questions about our van
