And if you prefer to plan a road trip through BC's wine country and out to the Sunshine Coast - we can't think of a better way to do it!*Please remember - the Get-Away Van is by no means an off-road vehicle. Although very reliable, please do not take our van too far off the beaten path. It is NOT made for 4-wheeling into your favourite ATV camp, however, it is a great base camp for getting to those spots on your quads! Always make sure you have an easy way in AND out of your campsite when random camping on Crown Land. If you have reserved a campsite, even better! We've got all the hookups for power and water when using those paid sites as well.Otros detalles importantesIf you are bringing your pets, please ensure they are doing their business outside of the van. Clean up after them as you would yourselves and we have no problems with you sharing these adventures with your furry family members!

No Off-Roading - Our van was made in 1988. Although things were constructed a bit differently then, we want to ensure its longevity. Please go easy on our old girl so that those who follow can enjoy their adventure just as you did.

5.0The van was a lot of fun and we enjoyed the week we had with it! Danny was always quick to respond to us when we reached out and was super helpful. The van drove really well and we had no issues either on the highway or going up and down any hills! Only negative was the AC wasn’t working, but it sounded like they were planning to bring it in for the winter when we dropped it off to fix any issues, so I don’t think that’ll be an issue come next summer. They included things like bed sheets, camp chairs, camp table, bear spray, a cooler, cooking utensils, and pots and pans so we only needed to pick up a few things once we got it which was super convenient. Definitely recommend this for a couple or small family who wants an old school van life experience!

The vehicle was in immaculate mechanical condition, and was cleaned, equipped, and stocked in a way that was clearly put together by people that enjoy using the vehicle and being in the outdoors. I would strongly recommend this vehicle, and can't wait to return to the area! Thanks so much!

5.0Perfect vehicle for cruising to the neighboring national parks. Drove hours on hours for 4 days and never had a real issue with the vehicle. Fit 3 large men 5’10-6’7. Only really small part is one half of the table-bed that’s obstructed by the kitchen. Would probably recommend for a child but we made it work with our 5’10 friend. Overall super nice hosts who dealt with me trying to juggle flights and our pickup/drop off times. Would rent this vehicle from these hosts again!
