The Good: The RV did its job and kept us warm during a cold trip to Mammoth. My kid loved the experience, and we appreciate Yamin sharing his vehicle. The So-So: The RV shows significant wear and tear. Notable issues include an uncomfortable primary bed, a deflating air mattress, mismatched linens, and minor broken fixtures. More critically, the fridge and freezer failed to stay cold enough, spoiling some food. There was also a lingering odor from the toilet, and the black water sensor panel is broken. The Bad (Be Aware): Expect unexpected upcharges at drop-off. Despite returning the RV exactly as agreed, the host met us with a calculator trying to find extra fees. He attempted to charge us $285 for a late drop-off we had already verbally cleared, tried to charge a dumping fee until we produced photo and receipt proof of our dump, and tacked on extra mileage fees for a direct trip to our stated destination. (Note: Bring your own disposable gloves for dumping). To avoid bickering after an exhausting trip, we ultimately settled on a $150 Zelle payment just to leave. As first-time users, our advice is to get every agreement and potential fee in writing beforehand.

Host is detail oriented and spent 40 minutes doing an intro and walk around. I have never driven an RV and the host made it simple. On the trip I had a few questions and host was helpful and explained everything. This RV is easy to drive and the folks at any RV spot will help you park. I would rent this RV again.

My experience was terrible!!!! want to clarify one important point. All of the issues we experienced should have been disclosed to me clearly during our phone conversations, so I could have the option to decide whether I wanted to proceed with the reservation or not. That is the purpose of disclosure, to allow the renter to make an informed choice. When we arrived at the RV and you gave my son a walk through, that briefing was meant to explain how things operate, not to reveal existing defects or limitations that should have been communicated much earlier. At that point, we were already committed and on the road, without the ability to change plans. Had these issues been clearly communicated to me by phone in advance, I would not have proceeded with the rental. This is no longer about money. It is about fairness and honesty between one person and another. We spoke for nearly an hour on the phone, during which you asked me all the questions you needed in order to decide whether you were comfortable renting the RV to me or not. In that same spirit, it would have been fair and reasonable for you to say, there are several issues with the RV that I want you to be aware of before you decide, and then give me the choice to continue with the rental or not. At the very least, that would have prevented me from being surprised at the last moment. Dana

Yamin was a lovely host. Rv was in great condition.

I could not have had a better experience with Yamin. He was extremely helpful. This was a very last Minute trip for my son‘s 21st birthday that almost didn’t happen if we couldn’t find an RV the RV was in perfect condition very comfortable for our group very clean. I could not ask for a better experience.
