Jolene Vanderwood - 2023 Winnebago Solis

Jolene "Vanders" to Albuquerque! Our family of 4 (2 kids ages 3 & 7) took Jolene on a road trip from Denver to ABQ. Driving: We were very impressed with how well the van rode and handled through the mountains. There was enough space for 2 carseats and plenty of room for this Mama to safely wait on the kiddos as needed during the longer stretches of driving. Sleeping: There are 2 beds (the bench in the back folds down and the top pops up) Of course the kids fought over the top. We chose to divide and conquer 1 parent and 1 child in each space to allow for stretching room. The beds were comfortable and cozy. We kept plenty warm when the temps dropped into the 30s 🥶 at night. Other: With some strategic packing we had space for everything we needed. The mini fridge was very handy to have. There were many items we didn't need to pack because the van was well stocked. There were extra chargers and USB plugs. Cleaning supplies so we could tidy up as we went. Shades to keep the sun out in the morning. There were even little nightlights around to help with getting around at night. The bathroom is snug for nearly 6' tall people but it was nice to have for quick potty breaks (esp for kids) and a quick wash up. Hosts: Kelli & Serena were the best hostesses. They showed us everything we needed about Jolene before took off on our adventure. They were very thorough and the van was spotless when we got her. In the rare case we needed something they were very quick to respond. Overall we had a great adventure in Jolene. The kids absolutely loved it and we will be renting her again. Thanks Kelli and Serena for allowing us to experience Jolene!

We had the best time in Kelli and Serena's van, exploring RMNP and the Great Sand Dunes! They thoughtfully kitted it out for a comfortable experience, and even let us borrow a car seat for our toddler so we didn't have to lugg one through the airport. They were highly responsive throughout the process, and very kind and helpful during pickup. I would happily rent from them again for future adventures around Denver!

We had an amazing weekend with Jolene - everything about the van worked great, and in both campsites we visited we were the envy of everyone around us with our running water, taking showers, and having the most amazing open door riverside set up. This van is obviously super loved, and everything inside was so organized and clean. We would love to come back and rent again, and I can’t imagine this rental being any smoother or better.
