We are also not far from the Virginia Beach oceanfront or downtown Norfolk. There’s a zoo and an aquarium as well as many other museums. Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, and Water Country are less than an hour away.Multiple campgrounds near by including first landing state park right on the Chesapeake Bay! The eastern shore of Virginia is just trip along the Chesapeake bay bridge tunnel (one of the 7 man made wonders of the world). There a a couple great camp ground on the eastern shore with Cherry stone and Kiptopeke state park being the closest.
