Must provide a valid, full driver’s license. No temporary or learner’s permits.
>Driving Restrictions:
No off-roading
No travel outside Canada (or US), unless specifically authorized.
No towing or roof cargo beyond the rack’s rated capacity.
>Cleaning, Pets, and Smoking
Van must be returned clean inside (swept, dishes done, toilet emptied) otherwise cleaning fee of $150 is applied.
Pets, require PRIOR approval, cleaning fee may apply
No pets on bed or cushions. Any damage or smell = charge.
Strictly no smoking or vaping inside the van. Violations = minimum $300 fine for deep cleaning.
>Fuel Tank:
Delivered full, must be returned full. ($50 fee plus fuel charge)
>Water Tanks:
Renter responsible for emptying grey water.
Toilet must be emptied before return. Failure = $100 fee.
>Battery/Inverter Use:
Don’t plug in high-draw items (kettles, hair dryers, etc.- loads under 1000 watts
Use 110V sparingly. Excess battery depletion can impact trip.
Charging via solar only unless plugged in.
>Damage & Roadside
Roadside Coverage:
Use Outdoorsy's included or optional coverage. Encourage renters to select a plan.
>Damage Liability:
All damage must be reported immediately.
Exterior damage, tire/rim damage, underbody, or roof rack damage is the renter’s responsibility, even if minor.
>Security Deposit & Extras
Security Deposit:$ 750.00 refundable deposit. Covers damages, missed fuel, cleaning, etc.
> Optional Add-ons:
25+ years old, with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
