5.0Smooth and flawless rental, the Winnebago Solis “Katusha” is really well set up and appointed. Nikolai is a great host and communications were clear and easy. He is very careful to explain everything and provide provided a manual that facilitated operation when I needed help.

5.0My wife and two small kids loved the van! It was clean and well equipped for our camping adventure. All of the van’s features were easy to use, especially with a thorough run through with Nicolai prior to departure. Driving the van was easy and fun. We would love to rent the van again or even consider one of our own!

5.0We had such a great trip! Nicolai was very thorough in showing us around and teaching us about the camper, so that we felt very comfortable driving the van. It was great to have so much room, and my daughter loved the pop-up to sleep in. Cooking in the little kitchen was surprisingly easy and convenient and the van handled perfectly up and over the mountain passes. We hope to rent her again! Highly recommend Nicolai and Katusha.

Pick-up and drop-off times can be flexible based on both your and my availability. Typically, we aim for pick-up in the morning or afternoon and request that the return is made before 6 PM. However, we can agree on specific times in advance and confirm them in writing prior to your trip.

Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?

The RV drives like a regular car, so no special driver’s license is required. However, it's important to drive slowly on curvy roads and maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead to ensure smooth handling and safety.

How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
When setting up at a campground, the RV operates off the battery if it's not connected to shore power. Please note that there is no built-in generator, so it's important to be mindful of your electricity usage when boondocking. The fridge runs continuously, consuming power from the battery, so plan accordingly. If you're connected to shore power, there's no issue. However, the heater and water heater only work when connected to shore power, so you'll have cold water for showers if not hooked up.
