5.0We rented this FJ for a camping trip to Jedediah Smith Park. We drove from LA and picked up the FJ in Cottonwood, where the hosts, Jessica and Chris, showed us how to set up the rooftop tent. Then we headed to our campsite, about 4–5 hours from Cottonwood. As described, all the necessary equipment such as a stove, cooking tools, a coffee maker and lights were already organized. That made our whole experience easier. We only brought clothes, and towels and chairs for the kids. The rooftop tent was spacious enough for the five of us, and the blanket kept us warm all night. On the way back, we were stuck in traffic because of an accident and a chaotic one-lane traffic situation for a few hours around lunchtime. Our kids were hungry but the snack bars the host prepared were a lifesaver. Those little touches said a lot about their hospitality. You’ll see why the moment you meet Jessica and Chris. You can even feel their warmth from their messages. I would not hesitate to rent from them again.
