This vintage Montana built 1977 Baier “Trapper” is a blast from the past for a rugged yet charming experience. We provide the brake-controller, propane (2 tanks), linens, and camp chairs with this all-inclusive camping experience — and you provide the adventure. This insulated trailer with built in propane furnace will keep you warm on the coldest of nights.Take the Trapper for a midsummer night’s dream escape, a winter wonderland backcountry ski lot to maximize your time in the mountain air, or just park it out front for the in-laws for a little extra "social distancing."The fully stocked kitchen has a 3 burner stove, Oven, and Microwave! With a Closet, Dining area, and beds for 3 (queen bed + twin bed) make this quite the adventure rig.
Need headroom? The ceiling height at 6’ 3” keeps you standing tall.
Have extra gear? Throw it in the closet.
Plug in, or run off propane. Fridge, stove and oven are all fully functional with propane, but the microwave works only when plugged in.
Perfect for boondocking off fire-roads and established sites alike.
Brand new tires and electric brakes.
Midsize SUV (Tacoma, 4runner, Grand Cherokee, etc.) or larger with 7-way trailer connector and trailer brake controller required for Rental. Trailer brake controller included with rental.
Qué incluyeFresh linens, fully stocked kitchen, closet with hanging rods, propane, 2 camping chairs, and trailer brake controller. In view of COVID-19 we ask that renters bring their own pillows for sleeping. For November thru February, the propane fire pit is included. Gotta stay warm out there! RecomendacionesThe Trapper is a rugged rig with high clearance. It will handle gravel and dirt roads but isn’t meant for high speeds on fire roads or true off-roading. Be mindful along unpaved roads and you’ll have an adventure worth remembering.Otros detalles importantesPlease place all sheets and pillow cases in the provided dirty laundry bag.
Pets allowed upon approval with damage insurance ($69) which must be purchased through outdoorsy.
Boondocking is ok, but do so at your own risk. Keep in mind that all damage is the responsibility of renter.

Frequently asked questions

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

Flexible within reason. If you're an hour late, it's all good. If you're due in the morning and show up at 10p, not good.

My name is Dave and I love getting outside. My girlfriend and I and pup Gilly (@gilgameshthedog) love to be able to get away from some mtb, fly fishing, hiking, and simply getting away from the hustle of Denver from time to time.
