4.0We are new to van camping, so most of our challenges were related to getting to know the systems and organizing ourselves. We had a GREAT time and the best part was the minimal setup+shutdown at the campsites (we're used to car tent camping). Only real improvement would be a tighter collection of little accessories (charging, cooking, eating implements). The weather was very hot and the AC was definitely producing cool air but never seemed to actually cool down the whole van. The open windows by the bed (could have used screens) with the roof ventilation worked really well for a good nights sleep.

5.0TJ was wonderful to work with from start to finish for first timers. He took the time to explain everything to us in detail and we texted him a couple of times on our trip when we had questions. We learned so much and look forward to our next adventure in one of his custom built camper vans.

5.0We had some mixups at the beginning but overall the van was great! We took it up to lake McConaughy and having the outdoor shower to rinse off was perfect. We didn't need the ac at night but it was nice to have during the day, and the awning was nice to have to rest under. There's a ton of storage space as well! There is some rattling on the sliding door panel while you're driving that can get kind of loud, but overall we really enjoyed the rental.
