Below you will find just a few of our Oahu favorites!North Shore:Explore the North Shore and visit legendary surf spots such as Pipeline, Waimea Bay, Sunset Beach, and others. Jump off the Jumping Rock at Waimea Bay, and then soak up the vitamin D afterwards. Hike the Waimea Valley to the picturesque and pristine Waimea Falls (as featured in countless Hollywood films and TV series), and walk the same ground as the original ancient Hawaiian wayfinders. Indulge in the countless appetizing options of the Kahuku food truck village. Learn about and experience the hands-on culture of the different pacific islands at the Polynesian Cultural Center. Discover a breathtaking underwater universe by snorkeling at Shark's Cove!West/Leeward Side:Travel to the west side of the island, often forgotten by most tourists, and take in the breathtaking views of the Waianae Mountain Range, and watch the purest sunsets the island has to offer. Discover the hidden gem of Makaha Beach Park with its white sand, clear crystal blue water, and the surf break that's great for intermediate to advanced surfers. Mermaids anyone?? Head a little further south to Mermaid Cave located at Nānākuli Beach Park! Hike the friendly/accessible Pillbox Trail, or for more advanced hikers, travel 5,000 ft. in altitude on the breathtaking Mount Ka'ala Trail. Stop in Ko'olina to play at the 4 man-made lagoons with white sandy beaches. Then enjoy some shopping, golf, or restaurants, and enjoy the more 'local' atmosphere of the west side.South Shore:Experience the impactful sites where historical world events transpired - from the Pearl Harbor USS Arizona Memorial, and a tour of the USS Missouri (the ship on which the ending of WWII occurred), to the still standing 'Iolani Palace, where the overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom occurred in 1893. Enjoy the restaurants, shopping, and stroll along the beaches of beautiful Waikiki, where the legendary Duke Kahanamoku brought the sport of surfing into the world spotlight. Visit and find killer deals at the world-famous Aloha Stadium Swap Meet on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Hike up to the top of Diamond Head, and take in the view!East Side/Windward Side:Dinosaurs and action movies! Reserve a film sites tour of Kualoa Ranch and drive/walk through Kualoa's 'Jurassic Valley' which is where films were shot such as the "Jurassic Park" films, "Kong Skull Island," "Godzilla vs. Kong," the "Journey to the Center of the Earth" films, the modern "Jumanji" films, "George of the Jungle," as well as famous TV shows such as "LOST," "Hawaii Five-O," and many more! Stop at Kualoa Regional Park, rent a kayak and paddle out to Moloki'i (Chinaman Hat), and hike to the top!Make reservations ahead of time to visit Hanauma Bay, and snorkel in it's pristine waters, spotting tropical fish (such as the Hawaiian state fish, the humuhumunukunukuapua'a), and sea turtles (but remember not to touch!). Cruise the Kamehameha Highway, stopping at the gorgeous Windward side beaches along your way (on a clear day you can see the neighboring Island of Moloka'i!). Stop to stretch your legs at the Makapu'u Point Lookout and take in the view of Mānana Seabird Sanctuary. This also puts you in the neighborhood of the Sealife Park where you can enjoy demonstrations from dolphins and sea lions, feed native island birds, and for a few extra dollars, you can even swim with the dolphins!Another pro-tip:When traveling back to Honolulu/west-side from the Windward side, or visa-versa, we HIGHLY recommend traveling on the H3 highway through the Tetsu Harano Tunnel through the Ko'olau Mountain Range (and turn on the Jurassic Park theme song when you do!)We have SO MUCH MORE we could tell you!
