We are excited for the opportunity to share our 2019 Forest River Salem 27RE with you, because we believe it is the perfect camper to host good company and connect with the great outdoors!This modern rig features 27 feet of living space in a two opposing-slides layout which makes for a wide open rear-living space, a comfortable full-feature bathroom, and a cozy bedroom for privacy.The rear-living space is surely the star of the show boasting an abundance of seating in the living room, counterspace in the kitchen, storage throughout, and natural light pouring in from the panoramic windows. The kitchen proudly displays an oversized island with a double-bowl sink and is fully equipped with a 3-burner stove, fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, and large pantry. The living room features an electric-heating fireplace, soundbar, two plush recliners, a 3-person sofa (which converts to a full-size bed), and a booth dinette with a bench that converts into a chaise lounge-style seat (or a single bed). The full-feature bathroom is designed to maximize efficiency with plenty of storage space, an oversized shower (with skylight, for tall folks!), and an angled toilet for comfort. The bedroom boasts a queen-sized bed with underbed storage, a full-size closet and additional storage surrounding the bed. Our favorites are Trap Pond, Killens Pond, and we've heard great things about Lums Pond.If you're looking for an amenity-rich camping experience, or you are wanting lots of activities for kids to do, I would highly recommend Frontier Town in Berlin, MD which has a water park, mini golf, fishing pier and more!A perfect mixture of the two types of camping would take you to our personal favorite campground: Buttonwood Family Campground in Mifflintown, PA. This campground has a wonderful family-run culture, riverfront sites, activities for the kids, a wine-shack on site with local wine, and even river tubing during the summer!If you need recommendations for a specific area, just ask!
