Consistently responsive problem-solver
Jake is consistently lauded for his quick responses, detailed communication, and willingness to resolve issues like late returns, missing items, or vehicle quirks. He is accommodating for requests such as late drop-offs and provides helpful pre-booking info.
Reliable, comfortable driving experience
The van is praised for its reliable driving, comfort (bed, height), and well-equipped kitchen with solar/AC. However, some guests reported issues with cleanliness, missing handbook/essentials, and one serious incident of expired registration, battery failure, and gasoline smell.

5.0We had an absolutely incredible experience renting from Jake. From the moment we booked, he was responsive, communicative, and made the entire process seamless. The van exceeded every expectation. It was exactly as advertised, actually, even better. It was comfortable, thoughtfully designed, incredibly reliable, and handled everything we threw at it, from mountain roads to forest service roads without a single issue. We always felt safe, and it quickly started to feel like home. One thing we really appreciated was how spacious it felt inside. My boyfriend is 6’0”, and he could comfortably stand upright, which made a huge difference during a week-long trip. We never felt cramped or like we were constantly in each other’s way. The bed was also very comfortable. We both slept incredibly well every night, and after long days of hiking and exploring. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, made cooking easy, and honestly became one of the best parts of van life. Being able to make breakfast with mountain views or cook dinner after watching the sunset made the experience feel so much more special. We spent a week exploring the Pacific Northwest for my birthday, visiting national parks, camping, and chasing sunsets, and this van made every part of the adventure effortless. It gave us the flexibility to adapt to changing weather, wake up in some unbelievable places, and focus on enjoying the journey instead of worrying about logistics. This trip confirmed something we’ve been dreaming about for a long time, we definitely want a camper van of our own someday. Until then, this is the closest we’ve felt to having one, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Jake, for sharing your van with us and helping make this one of the best trips we’ve ever taken. We wouldn’t hesitate to rent from you again.

2.0A few problems made this trip a bit of an unnecessary headache. The bad: - registration tags were expired. Jake said the registration was up to date, but we had no way to prove this outside of being pulled over and having them run it. So that gave us a lot of worries when driving. - the car battery and the auxiliary battery died on us and we had to get help from another camper and borrow their charger for 6 hours to charge up enough to turn the car over. We were under the assumption from Jake that solar would charge the battery, but we were unsure if it was even on. This could be a bit of our inexperience with the vehicle, however more on that below. - the handbook/info packet was missing, so we didn’t really have any information on the systems or the vehicle. We just had to guess really, since we were in an area with little to no service. Also during pickup, Jake was not present, so we really were going in blind. - we were both a bit underwhelmed when picking up the van. It seems to have seen some better days. Cushions were dirty, boards warped, unfinished trim, I could go on. For the price asked, I don’t think this a good value for the money. - the bed area reeks of gasoline. My wife is pregnant as of this posting, with our first child, and so that was no fun having to deal with the fumes and the worry for our 6 day reservation. The good: - pet friendly - Jake was very responsive when in service Overall: I would not recommend this particular van to anyone. It ended up doing the job it needed, however there were just too many issues that kept popping up for us. I think the pictures are a bit misleading, and the price is unjustified for what you are getting.

4.0We had a mostly good experience with the van. We made good memories and enjoyed our travels to Rainier but for the price we felt there were some kinks to work out. The Good: - Car ran well - no problems with it driving! - We appreciated the double fan system especially at night to stay cool on a summer night - Bed was super comfortable to sleep in :) The Not so great: - We would have appreciated being met and person and shown the systems to feel more confident. - It wasn't as clean as we would have liked (stained cushions, no provided soap/sponge, not clean feeling in the driving area, messy cabinets) - no privacy screens/anything for the windshield + front windows - the cooler had a bizarre smell so we opted to remove it from the van for our trip

5.0Comfy, safe, and fun. Our Oregon experience was made special by this van and we won’t soon forget it. Jake is very nice and accommodating. This is the only way to see Oregon. Thank you Jake!

5.0The Ultimate Den is the ultimate ride. We had an amazing trip to The Gorge Amphitheater in George, Washington. The Ultimate Den was excellent at handling the roads, summits and wide open spaces. When a powerful storm moved through are the first night, with lightening, thunder and gusts up to 70 mph, we were safe and secure in the den. We enjoyed camping with the Ultimate Den. While we chose do our cooking outside it was great to know we could cook indoors if needed. This den on wheels is exactly as advertise and exceeded our expectations. We were sad to say goodbye to the Ultimate Den.
