These events are high-risk due to extreme dust, mud, fire exposure, vandalism risk, and remote camping conditions. Outdoorsy’s insurance does not cover damages at these gatherings. Prohibited Events include (but are not limited to): Burning Man – Nevada (Black Rock Desert) Juplaya – Nevada (Black Rock Desert) Apogaea – Colorado NeXus – Colorado Element 11 (E11) – Utah SOAK – Oregon Critical Massive – Washington UnSCruz – California (Santa Cruz) Youtopia – California (San Diego area) Any other “regional burn” or effigy-style festival inspired by Burning Man If you’re planning to attend a music festival, fair, or rodeo (like Braun Brothers Reunion, county fairs, or similar), please check with me first. These normal family festivals are usually fine and covered, but burner-style events are strictly off-limits.
