Hokule'a - Hawaiian for Star of Gladness, the star Native Hawaiian's used to guide all their travels - is a brand new 2022 Forest River Salem 26 Dbud travel trailer. She's got the most amazing "Versa Lounge." The 26Dbud is the perfect family travel trailer, with double bunks at one end and a queen bedroom at the other. The dinette converts to a bed. The jack-knife couch also converts to a bed. You also get a fireplace (electric heater), full kitchen with glass-fronted cabinetry and large pantry, a large U-dinette, and the customizable Versa-Lounge with Stow N Go Storage. One super slide makes the living area massive. Outdoor gas griddle and fridge. The power awning adds more than enough shade on a sunny day. There is a separate door to the bathroom for easy access. Aloha! We are Keaka and Mary Hirose, high school sweethearts and parents to our four daughters - 15, 13, 12, and 7. We just moved to Florida from our childhood home of Hawaii and have jumped into the world of road trips with both feet. We looooove the RV Lifestyle and want to share it with as many people as possible. Keaka is an electrical contractor and Mary homeschools our children.
So far, our favorite trips have been - Ft. Wilderness, Manatee Springs, Flagler Beach, Cocoa Beach, Ichetucknee Springs, Weeki Wachee Springs, and a few other places in GA and TN. Looking to add St Petes and Kissimmee soon.
