The 2022 Vanworks Switchback 4D 4x4 is a great adventure rig for the desert and mountains. Built on the Mercedes Sprinter 2500 4x4 chassis, with the rock solid V6 3.0 liter diesel engine, it will be able to handle your most adventurous travels.The interior of the van is built to be solo and family friendly. With seating for four, you are able to safely put little ones in the back or pick up friends for a long weekend camping trip. The rear seat flips up out of the way to open up your living space and is safety crash tested. For your long weekend trips, the Novacool fridge will keep everything cool and you have enough prep space to cook a full family dinner. Induction cooktop is powered by your power system and no propane is used in the van, a big plus! Cabinetry is all aluminum so bumpy mountain roads won’t be making any squeaks or rattles.With four seats, you have to have enough sleeping space for all four people. The Vanworks Switchback 4D has a large upper bed that is suitable for two large adults or even an extra kid that may be new to camping. The mattress is extra thick to make sure you have a good night’s rest after a long day of hiking. Below the bed, are two large bench beds that fit an adult up to 6’4”.The 280AH of lithium power (Goal Zero 3000x), 3000w inverter, 30 amp shore power, alternator charging, and 100w of solar (expandable) will never leave you stranded without enough power. All of the electronics are tucked away under the rear benches that also houses your 20 gallon fresh water tank. A 20 gallon gray water tank is hidden under the kitchen cabinet. With your water tanks inside, you can take this beautiful rig up to Mammoth or the snow and keep those water lines from freezing.
