Frequently asked questions
Q.
How does the solar power system work?
A.
The auxiliary power system charges off both solar power and while the vehicle is being driven. The system provides power to the fridge, lighting, usb charging ports and overhead fans. It does all this without any worry about the battery that starts the van which allows for great flexibility and peace of mind.
Q.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Depending on other rentals or our personal usage I try to have a great deal of flexibility with early departures and late returns potentially available but its entirely dependent on the specific dates of your trip.
Q.
What do I need to bring with me?
A.
Vander and Mifflin come with full kitchen sets, camp chairs, lanterns and just about everything you would need to relax around the campsite. Most people typically bring their own food, drink and clothes and utilize all the included goodies to hit the road quickly.
Q.
Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
This van is relatively easy to drive and while it doesn't drive like your standard SUV most people find it easy to drive. The biggest differences are braking distance, and awareness of curves and turns while driving as its not intended to corner mountain roads at high speed. Parking is always easier when using a spotter and we highly recommend using a spotter to help avoid any low speed accidents at gas stations or campgrounds.
