Loved this truck and rooftop tent combo! Gave us the ability to go on all of our daily adventures around the island while also giving us a good night’s rest on the surprisingly comfy bed. The setup was also extremely easy and we got into a nice routine after the first night. The included chairs, cooler, beach towels and water was a huge relief. Tim gave great instructions and was quick to respond.

The pick up and drop off at the airport was super helpful. Also the list of recommended campsites provided was great. We camped around big island for three nights and had a great time. Easy to pop up the tent at the end of the day and easy to break down and on the road again in the morning. The truck is stocked with essentials and we were very comfortable. We had a great breakfast of Waimea butcher shop sausages cooked up on the stove provided while at volcano park camp grounds. Bonus, first and only hot shower on our trip there. Felt like next level luxury. Highly recommend booking this truck. Tim was responsive to questions ahead of our trip and we look forward to our next booking.

Tim's 4x4 Toyota Tacoma was absolutely perfect for our Big Island adventure! This camper sleeps 5-6 comfortably and proved to be the ideal setup for exploring the Big Island. The 4-wheel drive wasn't just a nice feature, it was essential and performed well on challenging roads, including the rocky ascent up Mauna Kea and other rugged backcountry routes. The Tacoma handled rough terrain with ease, giving us the confidence to explore places we wouldn't have otherwise reached. The camper came fully equipped with everything we needed. Cooking was a breeze with the stove, and all the pots, pans, and supplies were spotlessly clean and well-organized. The convenience of having our accommodation and transportation in one reliable package made our trip so much more enjoyable and allowed us to truly experience the Big Island at our own pace. But what really made this rental exceptional was Tim himself. His communication was incredibly fast and helpful throughout the entire process. He went above and beyond in every way even picking me up from the airport at the start of our trip, and when we couldn't get an Uber back to the airport, he graciously drove us there without hesitation. His genuine aloha spirit and hospitality transformed a great rental into an unforgettable experience. We'll absolutely be renting from Tim again on our next visit!It's worth it. Mahalo!

We had an awesome experience with this camper truck rental. The whole process was smooth and easy, and the truck itself had everything (and more) that we needed to enjoy our trip. Additionally, Tim was very helpful and was understanding when we had to adjust our reservation time at the last minute. Overall we're so happy we went this route and would highly recommend!

Tim's truck was well-appointed and had everything you need for camping. The pop-up tent was extremely easy to put-up. He was really responsive and helped answer all our questions. A general comment on camping: from our experience we would recommend not camping Fri/Sat/Sun nights: These nights, the camp grounds are used by large groups of local families. We stayed at Kapa’a and Lapahoehoe, and the campground was open all night with vehicles coming and going all hours. We would do this again- but not over weekend nights.

Tim was the most amazing host! Super acccomodating and a prime example of local hospitality and the aloha spirit. The truck was perfect for my little family and we loved the trip!
