This is set up as two full beds and sleeps 4 comfortably. If you want to squeeze or have some kiddos that you want to snuggle with you can always fit more ;) Notice that the mattresses are all singles so there is a ton of flexibility in how the sleeping arrangements can happen. We travel with two dogs - one medium and on large and there is plenty of room for their dog beds even with this setup.
