2021 Winnebago Solis Ram ProMaster 59PAs lifelong Alaskans, we understand the beauty, unique experiences and memories a trip to Alaska brings to travelers. We would love to share Alaska and our camper van with travelers that want to explore Alaska from the road and still enjoy an easy drive with more parking and camp spot options with our 19-foot van instead of a larger RV. You’ll also be able to enjoy a warm comfortable space that you can fully stand in. Our camper van offers four (4) comfortable seats with seatbelts (including driver); both front seats swivel towards the back for dining setting for four, sleeping options for 1-4 people with two short queen beds (1 queen murphy bed and 1 queen pop top, see pics for dimensions); cassette toilet/shower, refrigerator, two-top stove and lots of storage. All windows have black out coverings to be able to sleep at night during our Alaskan midnight-sun summer evenings. You’ll be able to camp off-grid easily or if you find a camp site with 30-amp power, you’ll be set. Our camper van will be fully equipped with clean bedding, pillows & towels, cleaning supplies, kitchen utensils, camp chairs, first aid kit, and roadside assistance kit.Mechanic inspection completed May 2026, which included brake inspection, fluids check, lights, engine and driveline inspection. Brand new tires and in-house batteries were installed April 2026. How-to videos uploaded on YouTube @AlaskanHeathersCamperVanOur van does have upgrades which are included. Other Notes:
We expect our Winnebago Solis 59P to be returned in the same condition that you picked it up.
Logistics: We need about an hour (scheduled in advance) when you will be arriving to go over the functions of the camper van before driving. Upon return of the van (scheduled in advance), it will take at least forty-five minutes to inspect the van together and sign you off. Renters are responsible for the cost of any damages that occur to the vehicle.
Please keep in mind that while we want you to have a lot of fun, there are a few limitations as to where you are allowed to take our camper van. We do not allow the vehicle to leave Alaska. We also do NOT allow our camper van to be on the Dalton highway north of Fairbanks; Denali Highway (Route 8 is the 135-mile-long, mostly gravel road connecting Paxson (Richardson Highway) to Cantwell Junction Parks Highway); the rough, unpaved section of Hatcher Pass Road (14-to-22-mile portion of Willow-Fishhook road connecting Palmer and Willow); or the 60-mile McCarthy road to Kennicott, Alaska. These roads are rugged, have unpaved sharp gravel, potholes, washboard surfaces, and have high potential for punctured tires. Renters are responsible for the cost of any damages that occur to the vehicle. There are no towing companies that will pick you up on these roads so breakdowns and repairs due to misuse of the vehicle will be very expensive. The vehicle is not designed for off-roading (4x4) and should stay on well-maintained roads and highways. Also, while we know you might enjoy hunting and fishing that is unique to Alaska, we prefer you to clean and cook fish or game outside of the vehicle. There are many outdoor fish cleaning stations, and many campgrounds offer outdoor firepits. We can also recommend professional fish and game processing facilities that will clean, pack, freeze, box and ship for you. Please keep these activities and smoking of any kind outside so that no foul odors are left in the vehicle. We want you to enjoy Alaska your way, but keep in mind that our family and other renters would like to enjoy a pleasant experience after your trip. Thank you!• No off-roading
• No cleaning or cooking fish or game inside the van
• No smoking or smoke of any kind inside the van
Failure to return the van in the same condition as you received it when you picked it up incurs a $350 cleaning fee that we will be retained from your deposit.Qué incluyeOur camper van will be fully equipped with clean bedding, pillows & towels, cleaning supplies, kitchen utensils, pots/pans, camp chairs, first aid kit, bear and mosquito spray, roadside assistance kit, and upon request a hitch mounted cargo rack.Recomendaciones• Kenai

We had an amazing experience renting from Heather for our Alaska trip. From start to finish, her communication was outstanding, and she truly went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome. The van was exceptionally well equipped and thoughtfully stocked with all the little things that make a big difference when traveling. Heather left snacks, games and toys for my boys, a small s'mores kit, water bottles in the fridge, bug spray, and countless other thoughtful touches that showed how much she cares about her guests' experience. The van itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our adventure. As someone who has rented out camper vans myself in the past, I know how much work goes into providing a great experience, and Heather is absolutely top-notch. She has clearly thought through every detail and anticipates needs before they arise. I would not hesitate to rent from her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a camper van in Alaska. She helped make our trip truly memorable.

Te presentamos a tu anfitrión, Heather

Miembro desde 2026

I (Heather) was born in Anchorage, Alaska and raised in both Anchorage and on the Kenai Peninsula for the last 40 years. I worked in the hospitality industry as a teenager cleaning fishing boats and cabins, waitressing, receptionist at a lodge and also checked in and packaged fish at a seafood processing plant. After graduating from University of Alaska with a general business degree, I began work at the local electric company and worked there in several customer service and administrative positions for 17 years. I married my high school sweetheart and we have three children. I am now a stay-at-home mother and wife. Me and my family live on a homestead on the Kenai Peninsula.
