5.0El Capitan was surprisingly easy to drive, back up, and it even fit into standard parking spots. I really appreciated the agility of this compact van, especially when compared to my previous experience of pulling a trailer. Its diesel engine had plenty of power to climb the multiple mountain passes on my trip. The solar-powered electrical system was a game-changer from my old way of camping; I didn’t have to worry about running out of battery to run the pump, fan, and USB ports while I was dry camping. James was responsive, helpful, and kind. I had to contact him a couple of times while I was on the road because I wasn’t sure how something worked, and he immediately got back to me with excellent explanations. A wonderful trip and a great experience. Definitely recommend.

5.0We had a great time with the van, took a trip up the Pacific Coast Highway. James was really good at responding to some issues we had (self-inflicted) and the van was really easy to use but watching Jame's video is a must, really helps guide you. We will do this again!

5.0James was great. He has an awesome van in great shape and ready for any adventure. I highly recommend both James and his amazing Revel. We had a great two weeks travel through Death Valley and southern Utah.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

My schedule is very flexible so I can accommodate just about any pickup or dropoff times that work for you!

How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
The Revel's onboard systems allow for boondocking / dry camping for several days without any hookups, allowing you to go far off the grid. The van also comes with everything you need to take advantage of full hookups at any RV campground, detailed instructions are included with your rental.

Can I leave my vehicle parked at your location while I'm renting the van?

Yes, guests are welcome to leave a vehicle parked on the street in front of my house.

How does mileage work?
A.
Your rental includes 125 miles per day, calculated at the start and end of each rental, and then it's 50 cents per mile beyond that. So for a 10 day rental you'd get 1250 miles included for free, and then pay 50 cents per mile for any additional miles upon return. This charge helps offset additional maintenance costs for longer trips.
