Additional features added by the owner.We are the second owners of this beautiful 2015 MB Sprinter. Teddy's first two owners, Cory and Eric, named the van after Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th president of the United States. Teddy, was a conservationist, instrumental in the setting aside of public lands and creating what is the US forest service as well as the National Park System. Many of these places set aside by Teddy Roosevelt, are the exact destinations perfect for visiting in "Teddy" the 2015 Sprinter.NO Smoking, of any kind, in or around Teddy. WE are very sensitive to smoke and can't have any smoking in or around Teddy. If you are a smoker, we would ask you consider another option, as we can't take the chance to rent to smokers. I will ask you to sign a no smoking in or around addendum, and there will be a $1,000 fine if there is any hint of smoke inside the van. NO Smoking IN OR Around Teddy.*Insurance through Outdoorsy is required for all bookings to be approved.With Teddy you get:- A California King size platform bed

-Dometic 65w fridge, no ice needed.

-135 amp hour 12v battery kept fully by
-200 watts of Renogy solar on the roof
-interior house lights, including reading lights on left and right side of the bed
-2 burner Coleman propane camp stove
-Sink, with 2, 5 gallon water jugs
-2 burner stove along side sink, only to be used for boiling water
-10 gallon roof mounted Road Shower. Heated by the sun, and pressurized by a 12v compressor. This gives you an outdoor shower, a dish wash station, bike wash, etc.
-2 interior fans keep airflow moving
-driver and passenger side vent windows keep fresh air moving in
-Espar D2 diesel heater, super quiet fan, heat is provided from the existing diesel tank. No propane bottles to fill, turn on etc.
-2 person bench seat behind the driver and passenger seats, giving the van a total of 4 seat belts
-Driver and Passenger seats swivel to create a sitting area in the front of the van
-Window Covers for all 5 windows. Keeps the heat in & the sun out. Sleep in way past sunrise.
- Slide Out Bike Tray. Fits 2 Mountain Bikes, with thru axle fork mounts.Teddy is a 170 wheelbase, 2.1L, 7 speed automatic sprinter. He is a joy to drive as the little 4 cylinder diesel coupled to the 7 speed automatic really moves this van quite well. This combo should give you low to mid 20's for MPG! Even at elevation up the mountain passes this thing moves quite well. Teddy is also very easy to drive. If you don't have any experience driving big vehicles, no problem. These Sprinters are so easy to drive, after a few miles you will forget how big this machine really is!Sleeps 4

Hello Outdoorsy Community,
My wife and I got into camping once we had our first daughter. We purchased a pop up camper, Viking 1706, and used that for two summers driving all around our now home state of Colorado. We are both transplants to CO, and fell in love with getting outside of our day to day life. We fell in love with camping and the life experiences we were getting with hitting the road. There are so many beautiful places to see right in our backyard, we sometimes forget those gems are there waiting for discovery. This year we decided to upgrade our "Camper" to a 2015 Mercedes Benz Sprinter. For us this is a much better way to travel and see the areas around us and beyond. Much more comfortable, quiet heater! better sleep! and of course no more popping up and down the pop up. The van also gives us more flexibility in where we can sleep, as this white commercial van blends into any city our town. We are excited to be sharing our "Teddy" with the outdoorsy community!
