5.0Great RV weekend! We were able to get the full experience with this rental - we booked a campground with full connections, drove through RMNP and Trail Ridge Road, and took it to a trailhead at the end of a long forest road in a nearby National Forest. It was a busy parking lot at the trailhead and the shorter overall length of this RV was huge as it allowed us to easily parallel park among the other cars. We had a great time and would definitely recommend!

No. No Cleaning. No Dump Fees. No Stress. Just bring it back with a FULL tank of gas (regular gas)

Yes, well-behaved pets are welcome. $50 per pet (Max 2). Even though we don't require you to clean the RV, if you bring a pet, you are responsible for cleaning pet hair and leaving the RV in good condition. Excessive pet hair/Damage will be deducted from the deposit.

Can I drive to your location and leave my Car there during my trip?

Yes. You can leave your vehicle on our secure 4-acre property in Loveland while you travel. It's safe, easy, and one less thing to worry about.

Are there Mileage Limits? What is the MPG?

Nope—unlimited miles. Go explore. Regular unleaded gasoline. No diesel, no confusion. All we require of you is to FILL THE TANK before you return the RV. This RV gets approx 10-12 MPG

Dixon built Boondocking Colorado because he wanted to experience Colorado the same way he believes life should be lived: fully engaged.
A mountain bike zealot, snowboard instructor, paraglider pilot, author, and speaker, Dixon has spent years exploring Colorado's mountain towns, trailheads, backroads, dispersed campsites, and hidden corners. These rigs weren't built for crowded campgrounds—they were built as comfortable base camps for adventure.
In 2014, a mountain bike crash followed by a life-threatening pulmonary embolism forced Dixon to reexamine his life. At fifty, he chased down a dream from his youth and eventually launched a paraglider solo off Colorado's Lookout Mountain at age fifty-two.
The same philosophy that inspired his upcoming book, Hold MY Beer: I'M Going Back IN THE Game, inspired these rigs.
Today, he helps others discover the Colorado most visitors never see.
