Paulie ("ayyye, Paulie!" in your best Tony Soprano accent) started his life as a sanitation worker in NYC and has since retired to live the good life as a roaming adventurer. He is a diesel 2006 Sprinter van fully converted and 100% instagrammable with vintage oven/stove, full queen size bed, heater, table and benches. All lights and electricity inside run off solar power and there is an outdoor shower hookup! Twinkle lights are remote control operated and battery-operated candles are a whole vibe.There is plenty of space in the back for gear and lots of storage around the van for your roadtrip and camping essentials. Paulie has handmade walnut counters and tabletops made by woodworker.Paulie is easy to drive and gives you the chance to break out your favorite cassettes :) It's the perfect van for your next adventure off the grid. He gets an incredible 28 miles per gallon (mpg) and does not require diesel exhaust fuel (DEF). If you've driven a pickup truck or SUV, you will be able to drive Paulie with no problem. He fits in a standard sized parking space, so no need to worry about oversized parking or navigating narrow roads in a small beach town (for example ;) )Qué incluyeA propane-powered stove allows you to cook anything (non-stinky!) you want if a firepit isn't an option and the fridge/freezer combo keeps food cold as long as the solar power allows (running out of power has never been an issue). It is not far from either town and their attractions (did someone say "charter fishing trip"??), but it is very private and offers a quieter camping experience than some of the more well-known campgrounds. Nearby this campground is the stunning Nordhouse Dunes and south of Ludington is beautiful Buttersville Park. If you're up for more of a roadtrip, Paulie knows the roads to Platt River Campground at Sleeping Bear National Park VERY well, along with the surrounding areas of Frankfort and Beulah.Golf is great but you know what it's missing? A good tailgate! That doesn't have to be the case if you use Paulie for your golf tour of Northern Michigan. Some of my favorite area golf courses are Lincoln Hills Golf Club, Hemlock Golf Club, Golden Sands (Mears) Crystal Mountain (Thompsonville) and of course - Arcadia Bluffs in Arcadia, Michigan.Paulie is the perfect summer camping van, with a built-in ceiling fan and two sliding doors to get plenty of cross-ventilation and make the most of our lakeshore breeze. No Refunds for Early Returns: If you return the RV early we do not refund the unused days/time. This includes if you have been in a motor vehicle accident (MVA) with the RV; however, if the MVA is not your fault you may be able to recover your rental costs from the at-fault driver’s liability insurance.3. Fee for Late Returns: A fee of $50 per hour will be charged if the RV is returned later than the agreed upon time. Renter forfeits their right to complete a return walkthrough with owner, if the unit is returned at a time different than indicated in line item #23. If any pet damages occur, including evidence of pet urine or feces, you will forfeit your entire security deposit. Please pick the "Add-on" that fits your size of dog.

I am not your typical camper- I didn't grow up sleeping outside with my family and most of my camping trips have been solo or with my furry copilot (Nahla, the Maltipoo/mighty hunter). I felt drawn to camping for the adventure it offered, and started tent camping in 2016. I fell in love with the peace I feel when I'm surrounded by trees and the freedom of not being locked into a schedule. From there, I ventured into winter camping and hammock camping.
I bought my campervan Paulie in the fall of 2021 to allow me to explore areas even farther away and to give others to experience the same joy I have come to know spending more time outdoors!
