Walter - 2018 Dodge 3500 Cummins Crew Cab with Scout Kenai Camper

Walter was an absolute blast to live in for 10 nights. He is comfortable has all the amenities you need and lets you go any places that you wanna go! It was a luxurious experience and super smooth renting from Kari and Colin would definitely rent again and can’t wait till the next time we can take out this camper!

Our family of three took Walter to Banff and back with lots of stops along the way. A great truck and camper equipped with everything you need. Colin and Kari are great hosts and helped us out with everything we needed. Would recommend 100%

We had a great trip in Walter! We did an 18 day road trip through parts of British Columbia, Yukon and Alaska. The truck was very comfortable to drive and was perfect for the many gravel roads we encountered. The camper is very spacious for 2 people (arguably more than we needed, but we enjoyed the comfort it provided). We're both 6 feet tall, and slept well. The camper is fully outfitted with cooking gear; nothing is needed to supplement. We had a small issue with the truck (a low coolant warning light came on), and the host was very quick to respond. Turns out their was no issue, just a sensor that needed to be replaced. Still, the host was great and very helpful! One comment to consider: We rented the starlink, but ended up not using it. Since we were going to be in very remote areas, I thought it would be nice to have as a backup. However, there were steps to setting it up (not difficult) and we found enough cell coverage along the way that we didn't need it. I think we would have used starlink if it is fixed mounted on the rig and didn't require the minimal setup to use; maybe something the host can consider for the the future. All in all, we had an excellent experience and I would highly recommend this rig for an outdoorsy experience.
