2018 Winnebago Vista Vanguard

**RENTER BEWARE** The Owners were very accommodating until they weren't. The vehicle broke down twice during our trip which ultimately required us to arrange for a tow & drive ourselves home. In response they accused us of not wanting to drive the vehicle back and tampering with the RV and then charged us for all of the ancillary expenses required for the breakdown - after delivering the RV late due to a non-operational generator. Side note for future renters, please note the 150 mile/day & 6 hr/day generator allowance. For those who live in the Twin Cities, this daily allowance would roughly allow for a single day round trip to St. Cloud. We initially drove to the Black Hills & subsequently discovered the daily mileage allowance wouldn't have even covered a round trip from our home to our initial campsite with no other additional exploration for a 7 day rental. The mileage charge for anything beyond this point is $0.50/mile; it can add up quickly.

I typically don’t leave reviews but am posting this out of concern for the safety and enjoyment of others. Be prepared to bring a tool bag or have a mechanic on speed dial, either way, you are going to have issues with this rig. Be careful putting anything in the cabinets as some of the doors and drawers will fly open and hurl their contents when driving. Have fun driving if the euro bed gets stuck in the down position. The owner seems to think these are normal issues. I strongly suggest having an agreement with the owner to address problems/issues while on your trip. On the plus side: plenty of toilet paper and a nice outdoor rug. Good luck!

This RV met every need we had. It ran great, was very spacious, and all of the items in the RV worked great. The owners were fantastic to work with and responsive. There is a huge amount of storage on the RV for everything you need. Auto leveling jacks were the easiest thing to use. All in all our trip was a success thanks to this RV. I highly recommend this RV to any and all!
