2009 Shasta Airflyte 12 - Retro style all electric (and solar!) camper

Corinna And Dan seem to be very nice people.They were very accommodating when it came to pickup and return time and location.I cannot however give a great review for the trailer.First, the walk through "show and tell" was not very thorough.I was not too concerned about this.I own my own trailer which is presently in the repair process at this time which is why I rented this one.I had intended to use my own draw bar and torsion bar setup but the trailer ball was the incorrect size.Dan lent me the one that he uses at no extra charge which was greatly appreciated.The trailer towed nicely with minimal sway at times.While driving home,I discovered that the trailer brakes did not operate at all.On closer inspection at home I discovered that the trailer connector plug had a previously melted terminal and that the rest of the terminals were showing signs of corrosion.This really should be replaced.Also,the tire pressures were low,so I corrected them.When I raised the TV antenna,I discovered that the cable and wiring had been previously damaged.I took it upon myself to correct this problem so I would have a TV for my trip.A DVD player and several patch cords to connect to other media sources were supplied,which was a nice touch.Some of the interior lights and the porch light were also not working.Also,there was sand on one of the cushions and on the floor.Obviously the trailer had not been thoroughly cleaned.I have a lot of experience towing and I am also a licensed Automotive Technician so the mechanical issues were not too big of a problem for me.However,for anyone that has no towing experience and limited mechanical knowledge,I could see how the items described would be very concerning.I would recommend that this trailer be fully inspected and repaired before it is rented out again.I am sorry for the poor review,but i must be honest.
