Gigi is a luxury teardrop trailer. She is light (1800 lbs) and fits in a garage or carport. She attracts attention wherever she goes with her gorgeous full width front window, and when you open up the back you get a gourmet kitchen that must be seen to be believed (3 burner stove, microwave, Dometic fridge, and sink with fancy taps).Gigi is no ordinary teardrop on the inside either. Take her somewhere beautiful, move the tow vehicle out of the way, and enjoy a spectacular view. Inside she can comfortably sleep 2 (or 3 if you don’t mind being cozy), and if your campsite has 30 Amp hookups and it is hot outside you will really enjoy her air conditioning. During the daytime, it is easy for 4 people to be in the trailer together.Gigi now has a better TV, better beds (8" industry leading ROG mattress) and seating, a reinforced back hitch that can handle two e-bikes comfortably, and a big upgrade in terms of her battery storage. We now offer Starlink internet as an upgrade (subject to availability). She has a unique, flexible bed setup that can convert to beds or seats in lots of different ways. You can look out the big window, but if it is rainy or night-time you can look to the other end of the trailer and all you will see is big-screen TV. Gigi comes with Apple TV or Chromecast (upon request), and (if you don’t have an Internet connection) there’s a Blueray DVD player and movie library.Gigi doesn’t have a toilet, and she is not for off-road use. Pets are not allowed. She works very well off the grid as her lighting, Max-Air fan, fridge and TV can all run off her marine battery. She comes equipped with pots, pans, cooking utensils, dishes and cutlery for 4 people. Gigi is stocked with a pop-up shelter that we use as a change room, and a dining fly that you can set up in your campsite. If you just want Gigi put on your campsite, we can arrange for her to be delivered and picked up for a negotiable fee.You can see inside a Luna at: https://www.youtube.com/embed/altVHE6stJE?start=154

We had a fantastic experience using this trailer for our 4-day camping trip. Don, the host, was incredibly thorough during the pickup walkthrough, taking the time to explain everything we needed to know to feel confident operating Gigi at our site. She definitely turns heads — we got plenty of compliments on her size and stylish design. Towing and maneuvering were surprisingly easy enough. One of our favorite features was the panoramic window — it filled the space with natural light and offered stunning views of our surroundings. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time circling Lake Superior with Gigi as our home base. Don was super accommodating. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone.

I have a lifetime love of camping and RV's. My wife and I have 3 teenagers. As a young child, my family had a series of VW Westphalia campers, including the model that had the adjoining tent. A favourite VW trip was across Canada from Halifax to Victoria and then down the west coast to Los Angeles. Later, we graduated to Winnebago's, and our fondest family memories were of regular non-stop driving trips from Halifax to Florida including a visit to Disney World the first year it opened, and later the Fort Wilderness campground in the first year it opened. Later, we had a converted van (Campwagon, built in Quebec) which had a more efficient layout than the big Winnebago. On the camping side, I was Boy Scout for many years and enjoyed any kind of tenting. When my own children were small, we car camped with a large Eureka Bon Echo tent which kept us dry and comfortable for many years. It was a high quality tent and it is still as good as new even after 10 years of use. My interest in having my own RV and renting it came from terrific experiences I’ve had over the past 5 years renting other people’s RV’s. First we rented a restored 1975 VW van in Florida (Crazy Karl) so I could give my kids a sense of the VW camper experiences that I had as a kid. Then we had a wonderful trip in an Escape Campervan from Las Vegas through the Mojave desert to LA to Malibu and back through the Death Valley. This was the first time that we had camped with an RV that had the kitchen at the back and a James Baroud rooftop tent on top, and we discovered that we really liked both features. And, then last year, we rented a large motorhome from Outdoorsy in Victoria, which we used for a trip to Tofino, and gave our kids a Winnebago-style trip. In choosing our own version of a “modular motor home”, we opted to use the innovative Intech Luna as a very comfortable, well-made, lightweight trailer that would fit in our carport. The combination of the fancy kitchen and big beautiful front window was very attractive to us. By adding a rooftop tent to our tow vehicle we gained the ability to house our whole family, but in a way that the adults and kids get to sleep in different places. And, depending on the type of trip we are doing and how many people are going, sometimes we just need the trailer and sometimes we just need the rooftop tent. In both cases we chose top of the line products. And, to make it cost effective, we are renting them out on Outdoorsy. The great thing about our modular motor home is that whenever they aren’t rented we use them to get out of the city and explore the countryside. Along the way we’ve seen more of Ontario in the past year than we’d seen in the previous 20. We are blessed with stunning national and provincial parks. Now we get to see a lot more of them!
