Welcome to High Altitude Rentals! We are *delivery only* - you will arrive to a completely set up camping experience - you only need to provide food and toiletries!We specialize in service to Hurkey Creek Campground and Lake Hemet Campground. Effective Summer 2026, from May through September, we will only accept reservations for Hurkey Creek Campground and Lake Hemet Campground.All other service areas, including the desert communities, San Jacinto Mountains, and Temecula Valley, remain available during the rest of the year, subject to our maximum delivery radius of 35 miles.We are local long-time residents and would love to share the beauty of our mountain and the warmth of the Palm Springs/Indio area with your family. Our goal is to make sure you have the easiest experience possible.We set-up and break down your entire campsite. All you need to do is arrive with your food and beverages and let us take care of everything else! This is a true "no hassle" camping experience. In addition, our long-term desert rentals come with weekly propane refills along with linen refreshment services. All rentals also include a Smores kit!We welcome long-term winter desert rentals with full hook ups! Please ask us about discounts for long-term stays!About OUR RV:The master bedroom is private and features a queen-sized bed with upgraded mattress. The two bunks in the rear are full beds. Both the dinette and couch turn into twin beds.Kitchen comes with full service for 8 (cups, coffee cups, plates, bowls and silverware), toaster, coffee maker, (includes filters and coffee) all utensils, mixing bowls, spices, a full set of pots and pans, oven sheet pans, all cleaning supplies, broom, smore and hot dog grilling supplies and blender. If you have it at home, more than likely this kitchen has it! We supply each rental with both kitchen and outdoor garbage bags, sandwich bags, freezer bags, foil and saran wrap. Paper towels and napkins are also supplied. Included are hot pads, oven mitts and kitchen towels.Bathroom: We provide hand soap, 8 rolls of toilet paper, 6 extra large bath towels, 2 hand towels and 2 wash cloths along with 6 extra large beach towels. You will need to provide basic toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, bar soap). The bathroom also includes a basic first aid kit.Linens: All linens are provided. Each of the two full bunks come with sheets and comforters, along with all linens and pillows. The queen bed in the master bedroom comes with all linens and bedspread. The queen master also includes a pillow topper on the mattress for a comfortable night's rest. Extra blankets are provided for those cooler nights.Pets: We love our furry friends and want them to experience their best vacation! Your pet fee comes with a dog feeding/watering station. A "pup" patio hangout outdoor lounge and leash connect system on the outside of the trailer.Games/Extras: We provide board and card games for making those fun camp nights! We have UNO, Scrabble, Candyland, Sorry, Trouble, Dominoes and 2 decks of cards. For the littles, we provide 2 complete fishing kits! Everything they need to make those lasting memories!The RV has an electric fireplace to keep you cozy for those colder fall trips, and a Smart TV. USB ports located throughout (also at each bunk). A nice size bathroom with smaller bathtub for ease in bathing the little ones. Bathroom also exits also to the outside.Outside, the trailer provides you with an outdoor kitchen with refrigerator, griddle (great for bacon and eggs in the morning!)/bbq and ice maker.Outdoors: We provide 4 camp chairs and two camp tables. Provided thorough setup and support

Steve and Jennifer consistently met guests at the campsite, walked them through all trailer features, and handled delivery and setup. Their communication was excellent, making guests feel comfortable and supported throughout the rental process.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My family and I recently rented a trailer through Outdoorsy for a camping trip to Herkey Creek, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The listing said the trailer would be fully loaded and ready to go, but we really didn’t know what to expect. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to find the trailer stocked with everything we could possibly need for our trip. Steve and Jennifer were fantastic hosts. They met us at the campsite, walked us through all the trailer’s features, and made sure we were comfortable with everything before they left. They were friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind throughout the entire process. Their excellent communication and attention to detail made our camping trip stress-free and enjoyable. We would absolutely rent from Steve and Jennifer again, and we would definitely use Outdoorsy again for future trailer rentals. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our family loved renting this trailer from Steve and Jennifer! The trailer is in great condition, and they have everything you could possibly need! The outdoor ice maker and griddle were awesome extra amenities. Having it delivered and everything set up was fantastic. The communication with Jennifer was easy and top notch. We can’t say enough good things about our experience. Rent without any hesitation, you will be glad you did. Thanks Steve and Jennifer!

Our trip was great! The RV was clean, in very nice condition, and served our needs perfectly. It was very well stocked with everything we needed for our camping trip--cleaning supplies, kitchen supplies, towels, sheets, camping chairs etc. Steve and Jennifer were really easy to communicate with and were helpful with all of our questions. We look forward to another camping trip soon!

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

We will deliver the trailer to your RV site and do all hook ups. We will arrange a meeting time based on a mutually agreed upon schedule. There will be an additional charge of $50.00 for each 1/2 hour that we need to stay on-site waiting to turn over the trailer to you. We will spend about 20 minutes going over the trailer before releasing the trailer. Trailer pickup must be at least 1 hour prior to location check out time as we need time to pack up and secure the trailer for departure.
