The Bear Den is a 2022 Heartland Mallard Tailwind and it is the perfect family RV. It has a gorgeous modern style with upgraded amenities such as a large outdoor kitchen with grill, double bunk house, large bathroom, egyptian cotton linens, and an outdoor shower. The RV comes with a fully furnished kitchen and all necessary linens for the bathroom and beds. Our Tailwind is kid and pet approved, and is the perfect accommodation for your next adventure!The Bear Den is veteran owned and located in New Braunfels, TX with many local camping areas such as the beautiful Texas hill country, Guadalupe or Comal river, Canyon Lake, and many more. Take the hassle out of your trip by allowing us to deliver and set up at your campsite for you. For longer trips, this camper is lightweight and is the perfect size for easy towing with the proper vehicle set up.Qué incluyeWe have stocked The Bear Den with just about everything you might need for your camping adventure!The kitchen includes service for 8 with plates, bowls, cups, and silverware. kitchen utensils include spatulas, whisk, spoons, tongs, wine opener, can opener, knife set, grilling utensils, mixing bowls, and more.Coffee service includes a single serve Keurig machine and 6 enamel coffee mugs.Egyptian cotton linens are provided on the queen size Murphy bed and the double bunk house beds as well as blankets on each. Each bed comes with two queen size pillows and multiple throw pillows. Linens are NOT provided on the convertible dinette bed. Please plan accordingly and bring your own sheets/blankets/pillows needed for that.The bathroom has towel service for 6 to include large plush towels and washcloths. There are two hand towels provided for the sink. These towels are to be used for the indoor bathroom only as they are white to show cleanliness. Please bring your own beach towels for any outdoor use (beach, lake, rivers) in order to keep the indoor towels nice.We have stocked a basket full of card games, dominoes, dice, and coloring books to keep the family entertained during any down time. The kids bunks have a few books and stuffed animals to help the kiddos feel cozy during their stay!There is also a 5 foot folding table for setting up in the outdoor kitchen area as well as four folding camp chairs. The spacious outdoor kitchen features a propane grill, a mini fridge, and an outdoor sink. On the opposite side of the camper is an outdoor shower rinsing off any sand or bathing pets after swimming! The outdoor awning is perfect to shade the outdoor kitchen area and is complete with led lights and outdoor speakers, but please use caution while in use. If winds exceed 10 mph please put the awning in. Any damage to the awning will result in a fee to cover its replacement.All hookup equipment is provided for a 30 or 50 amp campsite, as well as water hookup with a filtration system, and dump station hoses. Please use only the toilet paper provided, as Rv's have a special septic system. All tanks need to be flushed at a dump station prior to return. Failure to do so will resort in a $250 fee. RecomendacionesThe opportunities for camping are endless in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Some of our favorite places to visit are any of the state parks or a quiet place along the Guadalupe, Comal, or Frio rivers. For longer excursions we highly recommend Palo Duro Canyon State park. Known as the Grand Canyon of Texas, the views and hiking at Palo Duro far exceeded our expectations.Otros detalles importantes*If towing yourself, the brake controller will NOT be provided. Please plan accordingly and have your vehicle prepared for towing.*Boondocking and dry camping are allowed. Please let us know beforehand so we can properly prepare the unit.*We love our pets and enjoy having them as part of our camping experience, so we want you to enjoy that with your pets as well. With that said, please be respectful and clean up properly after your pet by vacuuming any hair throughout the trip. Any damage done by a pet will be taken from the security deposit.*Smoking and vaping is not allowed inside the camper. Evidence of such will result in a $250 forfeiture of your deposit.*Do not leave the awning out if winds are in excess of 10 mph. Any damage to the awning will result in being charged for its replacement.*Please use only the toilet paper provided as it is special for the septic system. Do NOT flush feminine products.*All tanks must be flushed at a dumping station before the unit is returned. All hoses and tools are provided to do this. Failure to do so will result in a $100 fee.Beach camping is not allowed. Salt water is extremely corrosive to the metal frame of the RV and the excessive sand is impossible to remove 100% for the next renters.

Brandie and Erik are quick to respond, easy to communicate with, and provide setup service. Erik even came out to fix a trailer light issue quickly, demonstrating hands-on support.

I had an amazing experience with this RV! It was cozy, checked all the boxes, and served me perfectly for my trip. The owners were fantastic — super friendly and quick to respond to every question I had, which made the process so easy. The RV is the perfect size for towing with an SUV or small truck, and it had everything I needed for a comfortable and stress-free vacation. I would absolutely rent from them again. Highly recommend!

Host Brandie was easy to communicate with and it was lovely showing up to our campsite with the RV all setup and ready for use. This was the first time renting a RV for a river trip, and I’d definitely use the service again. The RV itself had everything needed for the weekend too. Thanks!

Brandie and Erik where great the RV is very clean and the layout is great for family. We had an issue with the trailer lights and Erik came out (thankfully we where close) and got it fixed and even offered to bring it back since he was already there. It was a minor ground wire issue he fixed quickly. I shouldn’t effect any lights going forward.

Hi! My name is Brandie and my husband is Erik. We recently started traveling more with our two children and decided to dive head first into the RV life. After taking our first trip to Rocky Mountain National Park last summer, we made a goal of visiting all of the national parks before our children are grown. We love hiking, exploring nature, and just being able to slow down and soak up all the beauty the world has to offer. We hope that through our RV rental we can bring the same joy to others!
