1989 VW Westfalia - Automatic (For 4)

Are family had a very worderful summer vacation and experience in the retro VW camping van. The van was very cozy inside and it was very well equipped with everything you need. In fact, we sort of over-packed, yet there was still enough room for four people. Though, tall people beware, you will probably hit your head one or two times until you get a sense of the dimensions :). The owner was very responsive and answered may of our questions and concerns. It was a fun experience driving an old vehicle. So do make sure you give it TLC when operating it and pay attention to the vehicle walk-through. It's not just our family with all smiles, but on the road, we had numerous vehicles smile at us and giving us the thumbs up. Everyone can tell this is a retro vehicle and respectfully gave us space and safely passed us. We drove mostly on the inner provincial highways (HWY 7) but even on HWY 1 it drove smoothly. I had a great experience with the van, it’s very well equipped, everything is there, you just have to put your suitcase in it. The van is perfect for British Columbia I had no problems. Then the hosts are very present and communicative, thank you again !

Booking our Westy was easy, pick up and drop off were smooth, and ripping it around BC made our trip even sweeter!! Mike clearly takes such good care of his things - the VW was mint and he had it stocked with everything we needed. He was there if we needed him and responses were always quick. The three of us ladies couldn’t have asked for a better ride for our travels! Highly recommend using Camp Junkie!!

Really great experience. It took us a day to get used to everything the Van had to offer, but everything worked out in the end. The manual is extensive, and will cover almost all of your needs. All in all, would do it 10 times outta 10. We’ve grown attached to the Lady in Red and will miss it!

We really enjoy our experience with the van, the camping trip and services from Camp Junkie. We were first time campers with a toddler, but the camp provided everything we needed to make our trip comfortable and convenient. There were clean beddings and linens provided, so all we need was to stock up food and bring our own clothes. The van was very well thought out, had privacy curtains and insect screens and detachable table, etc. We highly recommend Camp Junkie!
