2002 Mazda Bongo, Gekko conversion
Hi, my Bongo is very easy to drive, compact but spacious to sleep inside. The 6 seats fold down to make a comfy double bed with plenty of storage underneath. She comes equipped with a very spacious open sided dome shelter for rain or sun to share with friends who maybe camping with you; two camping chairs; single gas stove; crockery and cutlery/steak knives; chopping board; wooden spoons; cups; kettle; saucepan set; cafetière; comfy pillows and a double sheet; 2 blankets. You will need your own duvet.
There is a single ring gas stove with gas canisters provided and a small table to cook outside the van and a washing up bowl is provided too.
Its a lovely van with a fantastic bluetooth stereo fitted for music during those scenic drives. She's very easy to drive with an automatic gear shift and has a double rear view mirror to help with reversing.
Privacy and security is paramount while you sleep with electric blackout blinds and curtains to separate the driving compartment and sleeping area. Also reflective windows so no-one can see in.
A lovely spacious dome shelter comes with the van, that can easily be erected with 2 people for longer stays. You can sit it over the back or side of the van for a lovely roomy sheltered area from rain or sun.
Also, she runs on either LPG gas or petrol if you're unable to get to a LPG station.
LPG is incredibly cheap so you can have a very economical holiday with very low travel costs.
