Update 4/10/24:
Unfortunately I cannot respond directly to reviews, so I wanted to make sure that future potential renters have the right idea going into the process. The mechanical issue that caused the van to stall out was repaired yesterday(3/9/24). I had the van inspected a couple days prior to the reviewer’s trip, and unfortunately this issue was not reported back to me by the mechanic, perhaps it went unnoticed because it hadn’t caused problems or triggered a check engine light for me yet. That being said, the fuel injection pump, sensor, and filter have all been replaced so this problem is no longer! As for the key situation, I live in Oakland and the van was unfortunately broken into a couple months back, and two of the key cylinders were completely obliterated in the process(I think they tried to melt it with acid? They were successful) because the repair for this is almost $2,000, I had to prioritize other expenses first. I hoped to get this part fixed soon, but the unexpected fuel pump system repair was also $2,000. So if you can bear with me for now, the van is a great addition to your trip. It just has a few color-coordinated keys and has to be locked manually. (As per the review, I have since figured out a way to reliably lock all the doors at once, so the series of one door unlocking the other isn’t a problem anymore either!)I just want to make sure people are properly informed and updated with context as I make these repairs! Thanks for reading!Anyway~

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.

Hey there! I bought and built out this rig for the purpose of being a full-time van-lifer (which I was!) for a little over a year in the Bay Area. I'm now living in Oakland and wanting to share the joys of van life with others. I call her The Cozy, and I've taken her to Yosemite, the Sierras, and many beaches. This van is such a cozy place to be in the middle of the forest, or on a windy beach-side cliff, laying in a warm bed and looking at the sunset with the back doors open. I love talking with other adventurous people and getting to know the different activities and communities y'all like to engage in! I personally love climbing, surfing, and running. Looking forward to chatting and hopefully meeting some rad folks and sharing the love of life on the road!
