2017 Couples Retreat

Donald was very easy to communicate with. The whole experience was super easy. Will definitely use his services again in the future.

My wife and I rented the couples retreat pull behind trailer for five nights. I have very mixed reviews first everyone seemed very friendly and nice and answered all my questions, but second that specific trailer is in desperate need of lots of repair. The battery was constantly going dead and required me to run my generator most of the time, the refrigerator did not sufficiently stay cold, It tried but thank goodness I brought three extra ice coolers with me for all our food and that we had ice available right down the road. I was constantly worried that we would have a tire blowout which is based on the age and condition of the tires and the spare tire was about to fall off the back of the trailer which was over 10 years old manufactured date. The inside of the trailer looked like it had been well used and abused with cabinet doors, not latching properly and trim/molding ready to fall off, In fact, we had a couple of the blinds fall off, which required me to reinstall. The inside is dark and dingy with the old archaic lighting and required us to wear additional head lighting for better visibility. The heater did work, but was very smelly and we chose not to use it. Last the smoke detector battery was so low. It started beeping in the middle of the night and required me to remove it. Actually, I have several other items, but I will stop here

We had trouble with the water pump. Several times one of us were stuck in shower with no water. There was plenty of water in tank and the pump was on. Each time it took 5 to 10 minutes and then it would resume. We had Couples Retreat. Also, not a single mirror. The battery died after 12 hours, but that was resolved quickly! Thank you

The arrangement for meeting were a little confusing - Outdoorsy contradicted what the host said. That said, Walter, the delivery man, was awesome! Overall the trip was great. The trailer could use updates - the fridge was iffy. It was comfortable. we would do it again - now that we know what we are doing, it would be less stressful planning the "meet".

Each year we seen to have a couple problems, but each year they do their best to remedy the problems. If there was another company that offered this same service, we might look elsewhere; but since there is not, we'll likely be a return customer again.

Might consider getting a replacing the generator. Had a hard time getting it to work
