5.0It was perfect for the 2 of us! We had just about everything we needed for 4 days of camping and even a few extras that came in handy. We did have to borrow a hatchet from a neighbor for splitting some fire wood but it was no big deal. The bed is comfy and we loved how warm the blanket was. The fan kept it well ventilated at night too. Tim was so easy to work with. He kept in touch beforehand and made sure we knew how to get ahold of him in case of emergency which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a great trip. We’ll definitely be renting again for future trips to Maine.

4.0Overall, a good van for the price. It was easy to maneuver and park like a regular sedan/truck. The bed was quite comfortable. The only big issues were the backup camera wasn't working when we picked it up, and we killed the solar battery by leaving it on all day when we were out hiking Katahdin, so had a pretty hot night's sleep that day. Another thing to consider is the provided cooler is quite small given the space constraints, so if you're thinking you'll be doing a good bit of cooking and/or being remote away from groceries, you'll want to get a bigger cooler to store food. If he can get a better/longer lasting battery and the backup camera working, it's a great van!

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

Pickup and drop-off are done at the "Cell Phone Lot" at the Portland International Jetport. This a 1-minute walk from the baggage claim. You can pickup and drop-off our vans between the hours of 6am-6pm. Outside hours are available for an additional $75 per occurrence. We will ask for you to schedule both times with us after you have booked.

How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
We have a 100watt solar panel that charges a 30amh battery. We supply an inverter to charge your devices. It also runs the fan and dome light. No need to worry about draining the car battery.
