Chevy conversion van, seats five, sleeps four, two in the roof top tent and two on the electrically-operated fold down bed. Van is equipped with 2000W inverter running off 200AH batteries, includes a 59 qt. portable frig powered full time by the house batteries. Microwave, coffee maker, toaster, mini-blender, and air fryer run off the AC inverter. Propane stoves for more power-extensive cooking. Portable solar panel and a 2000W portable generator provide emergency backup if needed. The van was built to have everything you need for dry-camping. Renters have used it in campgrounds, off-the highways, at rest areas, and other places.
Van is maintained according to recommended schedule, goes through a complete check and road-tested by the Master Mechanic (Me) before each trip. Has small sink for brushing , light washing, 40 gallon fresh water tank under the floor could be filled for long showers at camp grounds. Diesel heater installed for winter camping. Hot external outside shower is set up at the back of van.
The lower bed is extendable to 80 in. Long , 56 inch wide. The roof tent sleeps 2 adults (80 x 50 inch) and used to store bedding supplies. The additional roof top tray with the supplied bag can carry another 15 cu ft. of cargo plus another 10 cu ft from the hitch carrier box.
The van is much more quiet and pleasant to drive than a class C, functionally (place to sleep, cook, eat, and relax after exploring) the same as a much more expensive, new camper van ($75K +), cost effective, efficient and a perfect fit for two people also workable for larger parties. Much more versatile/econ. alternative than hotel + rental car + rest meal option (rental cost is same as 2 1/2 star hotel room charge. Save a ton of money cooking your own meals vs. paying absurdly overpriced-rest. charges (like paying $17 for bacon/egg breakfast while you can cook for $2 and save 1/2 hour of yr life . Lastly, full-frame Chevy is safer than a similar vehicle without a frame.
Qué incluyeI do not charge prep fee to keep the rental cost affordable and do not like to nickel and dime people (ten dollars for this twenty dollars for that, and so on...). Everything you need for camping will be provided at no extra charge.
Will try to accommodate your request so you'll have a wonderful trip. Two sets of sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels are provided. Small table, chairs, mini-kitchen (installed at the back of van) includes essential kitchen utensils, dinnerware set for 4, coffee maker, toaster, rice cooker, air fryer , portable 2-burner stove, mini magic bullet blender, 1 set of pots and small 10 " frying pan. Also a portable toilet is also provided.
RecomendacionesWe've taken the van to San Diego, Yosemite, Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Glacier National Park, and San Juan islands. Renters used it to tour Oregon and Washington, Calif. redwoods, Yosemite, Kings Canyon, LA and San Diego, Sequoia National Parks, Lake Tahoe, Olympic Peninsula, and the Midwest. Otros detalles importantesEarly pickup and late return maybe accommodated if no conflict with subsequent rental and specified in advance. Otherwise, if there is conflict, half day rental will be charged. If the provided portable toilet is not returned CLEAN, $100 will be charged for a new toilet and the renter can keep the old one.

I built this van as my hobby after retiring from 35 years of automotive engineering. Originally bought to save on my hotel bills when taking my daughter to out of town, regional soccer tournaments, spent 2 years to fix all mechanical issues and gradually converted to a self-contained camper van to make my van-stay more comfortable.

Very long review, but please read so you are not stuck with this DANGEROUS vehicle. Irresponsible host provided his camper van with bald and bulging tires. I picked up at night, so couldn't see them. In the morning I notified him how bad they were, he said they had thousands of miles left on them, then said I could go and put the spare tire on the passenger rear tire. The van was wobbly and had terrible reverberation if driving more than 45 miles per hour. I could not go places I wanted to go because I was fearful I would be stranded. Three days into the trip, the van became extremely dangerous on the road with terrible vibration and bouncing. I was in a remote part of Oregon and had to pull over. The tire had unraveled, radial wires had come out over 3 feet, the tire had disintegrated. I lost almost 2 days, had to spend one day hobbling to a town 30 miles away, find a tire shop with the right tires and get all 4 tires replaced (owner paid). I was told the tires were over 15 years old. The van drove better, but still quite wobbly. I had to be escorted back to Portland, over 150 miles from where I was, so my daughter lost a day of her trip, and I had to change my flight because I missed it ($180 change fee). I was delayed in returning the van, so Thanh charged me a half day for the delayed return. When I returned, I told him I was disappointed in his lack of care for his customers and others on the road, we were lucky no one got hurt. He tried to rush me away because he had someone else picking up the van in less than 20 minutes. I cautioned him the van wasn't safe and that it needed a thorough review, and should not be rented out, he refused. Very disappointed in this person's lack of care and conscientiousness. He should not be a host.

We had an amazing experience driving Thanh’s van! Thanh was very helpful and communicated instantly if we had any questions. The van is very reliable and has everything you will need on a road trip! My two sons and I were very comfortable driving it across the state of Oregon.

I had a brilliant experience while hiring Thanh's camper van. It was easy to drive and came with everything we needed for a 8 day road trip. Thanh is fantastic and took quite some time to show us how everything worked.

There were highs and lows. The van itself definitely did what we needed it to do. We drove all over the cascade mountains on some very treacherous roads, and we were able to navigate fine, and never had any trouble with the tires. Thanh was responsive, and responded to messages promptly. He even made arrangements to come and pick up the van from the airport, instead of having us drop off as we had previously discussed, which was great! The hot shower worked great, and the fridge inside works excellent.
That being said, the van is pretty "janky", with most of the work being done cheaply and by hand. Maybe my expectations were too high, but it wasn't as nice as what the pictures looked like. It is also difficult to get up to the rooftop tent, so wouldn't recommend if you're older or have any mobility problems. The bed down in the van is very uncomfortable, but worked. The storage on top was nice to have. The worst part was all of the equipment on the back hangs down very low. Any bumps we were going over, it scrapped on the bottom, and would sometimes unhitch and swing open. We had to buy a ratchet strap and strap it to the van, which did solve the problem. Gas also leaks if you fill it too full, which added stress and anxiety as I was worried too much gas would leak. We also were not provided with the toilet or the air fryer that the listing has. The brakes also are not great, and you have to push half way down on the brakes before they even start to engage.
Overall, it was okay. I probably wouldn't rent it again, and would spend a little more money on something a little better, but it did get the job done.

Sorry it wasn’t up to your expectations. Did find the source of the gas smell: the fuel pump was replaced and the mechanic did not tighten the hose to specs.

The van was perfect for our trip and exactly as described. Thanh was also awesome to work with.
Thanh was thorough in showing us how everything worked, super flexible and accommodating, and gave us plenty of good recommendations for places to go.
