As motor homes go, this 24.5’ (nose to tail w/o bike rack) is incredibly easy to drive. At 8’1” wide, it’s simple to find places to pull over. The V6 Turbo Diesel engine in this LTV Serenity model is at least twice as fast at getting back up-to-speed, than our V6 Sorento was while towing a small trailer. If you’re intimidated by the idea of driving something this large, you’ll be quickly praising yourself for overcoming your fear. Just ask my 4’10” wife. The large windshield - with NO over-cab bunk-bed to obstruct the view - has been a photographer’s delight. You’ll also enjoy sitting higher than most cars. It gives a greater perspective and viewing distance while you’re traveling.Interior: The best place to start is here, with your “hotel on wheels” experience. We chose Leisure Van, because of the space, thoughtful design and comfort. At 6’ tall, 180lbs, I can stand in the shower with ease, ducking in only a couple of places. The corner queen sized bed sleeps two comfortably and you can include one adult (or two younger ones) by breaking down the dining table. (48 x 82), though it's best suited for singles or couples. For more details and specs search 2014 Leisure Travel Van Serenity on YouTube:Qué incluyePick up time is 11am. Provides thorough guidance and support

Brian offers detailed walk-throughs and orientation for new RV drivers, ensuring proper operation. He is friendly, professional, and responsive, quickly resolving issues when they arise.

Easy to drive, handles hills

The van drives well, is easy to park, back up, and handles hills/highway with ample horsepower. It's comfortable, spacious, well-maintained, fully stocked, and its systems (A/C, fridge) are easy to use. Some minor issues noted were the second bed assembly and occasional cleaning remarks.

Brian was fantastic to rent from and absolutely earned five stars for friendliness, professionalism, communication, and responsiveness. The “Zen Den” was comfortable, well maintained, and in excellent condition. It looked almost new, and our whole family had a great time. We were pleasantly surprised by how thoughtfully stocked the coach was, from vehicle necessities to basic kitchen and bathroom supplies. The provided linens were especially nice, and the custom mattress was definitely worth the additional cost. The second bed requires a bit of cushion-puzzle assembly, and one of our kids managed to sink between the cushions after we put it together. Adding a few extra blankets over the top helped. There may have been a fitted sheet available, but we didn’t find or use one. The air conditioning worked great, the refrigerator stayed nice and cold, and there was plenty of interior storage. The kids also enjoyed the TV and DVD player. The awning wasn’t working during our trip, but we didn’t end up needing it. My only minor quibble was that the interior detailing and cleaning didn’t feel quite as premium as expected. A deeper clean would have been the cherry on top, although it didn’t take away from our overall enjoyment of the trip. Overall, the Zen Den was comfortable, well equipped, and a lot of fun. We’d definitely rent from Brian again.

A great unit for two people. We did about 300 miles and lots of dry camping. The Leisure Travel drove well, was easy to park, back up, and had no problem with hills or highway travel. Brian was very thorough during the walk-through and made sure we knew how to operate it properly. Would rent it again!

This van was incredibly comfortable and spacious, with lots of extra storage room. The systems were easy to learn and use, and the propane backup for the refrigerator was extremely handy. It was easy to drive and had ample horsepower for steep hills.

We're the international Brady Bunch. My three US-born kids, Cathy's two kiwi sons, we always had a seven-seater for our travel-loving family. COVID hit ... trip to France cancelled ... we bought our beloved Zen Den. Serendipity is part of our daily lives, so I had to play with the vinyl lettering on the Serenity, we nicknamed it SerenDIPity. It has lived up to its name for us. Last-minute decision to flee the country for the 4th of July '23, no time to reserve the Canadian ferry - "let's go take our chances..." Of course it was an amazing trip, especially when we discovered that it was also Canada Day - our idea that leaving the US was clever?.. We had plenty of time to laugh at our love of adventure while we waited for a couple of Ferrys ... our hotel-on-wheels didn't overlook Victoria BC - it put us right in the middle of the best place to hang out. There's a great bed in the back, we really weren't too worried about sleeping on the Ferry dock with high-level security. (HA) Basically - that's just who we are. We love to plan, Cathy is amazing at it, but sometimes it's fun to just trust the Universe and go. This van is rarely sitting in our driveway. We keep our plans loose (most of the time) so that we can share it with others. We've rented our share of AirBnB's, we've had plenty of conversation about what we loved or how we would "do it" if we ever entered the hospitality scene. We've really had fun doing this. If your rental is to "kick the tire" of an LTV, you came to the right place to get a feel. What they put into this van nearly a decade ago has been plenty for us. The auto-stabilizers in the new one would be great but I'm a former backpacker that loves stacking legos (leveling blocks, I prefer Legos) We have two full sets for you Army Corps or US FS Campers ...this van is not for off-roading but sure turns Boondocking into glamping when you can sleep without blood rushing to your feet or head. :^)
